Travelodge Lancaster M6

Good quiet stop over clean rooms. just on the motorway easy parking with service area for all other facilities

Just need to be aware of how to access the hotel site when driving M6 southbound and not just following the SatNav directions.

A very convenient location for our short stay in the area, particularly Garstang. It's well located for Lancaster/Morecambe, The Lakes and the Trough of Bowland, Ribblehead Viaduct is a one hour leisurley drive away through some really spectacular scenery.

Clean, tidy Travelodge. Friendly staff and helpful and knowledgeable about where to eat, shop and fuel up. Was quiet and comfortable and a good location for our stop off on way to Scotland via Lake District. Would deffo stay again.

I was greeted by a happy face which is a good start. Then I discovered I had no remote for the tv. This member of staff couldn’t have tried helping me anymore. She went and got spares. Tested the batteries in non working ones. It sounds like a trivial issue but I think it shows a true gem of a member of staff that is willing to go out their way and help. Not just sit behind desk and grunt like some places

We was told we had 30 minutes before we could check.we informed staff that were only wanted to leave our belongings and continue our journey.staff said unless we paid for early check in we could not leave bags.very disappointed!! Also when we came back that night we could not increase the room temperature

One end of the hallway, by the room my mother was staying stank of dog. I am aware it is dog friendly hotel, however it feels that this was not due to this (being dog friendly) but instead the poor quality of cleaning. The floor had a visible layer of hair over it, and as we were leaving we were shocked to see a robotic hoover going round one of the rooms, which i would say is far from sufficient - and would even stretch to say is lazy. I must also add, there was an additional charge for my mother to bring her dog. I would've hoped this charge would have been used for additional cleaning, but it is evident that this is not the case. The bathroom required cleaning in some areas, my mum took to cleaning her own, and was probably cleaner after she left. We paid close to £200 for two nights, and this level of cleanliness is not acceptable for this price. For a hotel stay at this cost we would expect the room to be cleaner than that of a hostel. The only positive i have to say about this room is that the bedding seemed to be clean.

A warm and friendly welcome at a convenient Travelodge for a long journey north. My room overlooked fields and the traffic sounds were only a low hum. Spotlessly clean and a great hot shower. Plenty of choice of food and snacks from the motorway services on the same site.

Person leaving premises thought it was ok to be shouting before 7am and, no soap in shower or sink... The room was comfy, although duvet opening was on the side and not at end so, found myself tangles up, during the night
