"Beautiful hotel in the centre of Fowey, the front of the hotel on the quaint street, the rear overlooking the water. Bedrooms are comfortable with lovely decor (quite hot though, so we had the window open all night). Lovely bed and bedding. We ate in the restaurant in the evening - the food and service was incredible, couldn’t fault it. Breakfast lovely although the ham with the eggs Benedict I’m told wasn’t the best (slippery ham!), can’t knock a star off for this as everything else was superb. Will definitely return."

"We stayed here for my birthday treat and we were blown away! We were kindly upgraded to one of the new rooms above the spa, which was incredibly luxurious, with amazing bathroom and an enormous and comfy bed. The staff were all polite, helpful and friendly, and the food we had was delicious. The pool and spa is modern and clean, and the games rooms for kiddults and little ones are a nice touch. We will come back again 🙏🏻"

"We had a great couple of days here in the summer. Our room had an extraordinary view over the rooftops of the town to the river. You could watch the ships arriving and departing, some of them surprisingly big as this is still a working harbour. Bedroom was comfortable and very clean. The rooms are above the pub, but we had no problems with noise at all, and the pub is great. Everything in Fowey is within easy walking distance. Best of all: you can open the bedroom window, fully! Such a refreshing change from so many UK hotels that only let you get a centimetre of fresh air. Breakfast was fine. The hill back up to the hotel from the centre of town is very steep, so this might be a problem for some. Overall, highly recommended."
