The variety of activities was very good but needs some modernization to be competitive. For example. There was a large tennis court which guests could use for free but the racquets and balls were poor quality. It would be better if they charge a nominal fee to use the equipment and upgrade the equipment. The hotel itself is a maze as it seems to have grown organically over the years. This could be a bit problematic for people with mobility issues or those with larger luggage as you need to take stairs everywhere between half-levels. The half-Pension dinners for 45 euros seemed like a good value for 5 courses but the quality left a bit to be desired. The breakfast buffet was a bit thin and spread out over 3 different areas. On the first day, they ran out of cheese for the tiny egg station and the second day they ran out of granola cereal. A bit strange for such a large hotel. The rooms were spacious and the air conditioning was important to have as the noise from the road was so loud it was difficult to sleep with the windows open at night. One big detraction was that the lack of carpet or floor covering meant that the wooden furniture „rattled“ when people in rooms above, below, or next door walked around. The spa area was a bit basic. My husband and I got massages but there was just a curtain or thin partition between the rooms so you could hear everything the other person was saying. Not so relaxing for those looking to disconnect. My son and his friend also had massages)16 years old) and said the masseuses treated them like children and stroked their skin lightly rather than trying to release the muscle tensions. This was disappointing after having biked 150 km the previous days… In sum, our stay was ok but not impressive.

Very nice hotel with lots of amenities. I went there during peak winter time. So I could not explore much. Very good break fast. Restaurants. Gym , swimming pool. Public transport is difficult. But nice view and good spacious rooms with Balcony, meeting rooms.

The staff is very kindly. Room was very large, large garden and magnificent swimming pools. The beakfast is very complete with a large selection of products. The terrace is very pleasant for dining or having a drink.

I was a little worried at first, this is such a big hotel and we had been staying at smaller ones during our 5 week touring holiday of Germany. I thought that the service and food could not possibly be as good as the smaller guest houses and that it would be a bit “manic” but was proven wrong. Our room was very nice, clean and the most comfortable bed we had the whole holiday, nice pillows and air conditioning that actually blew out cool air and worked!! The shower was amazing. We found the internet to be very good. There are different elevators and the room at first was not easy to find. We opted for a 3 day package of 5 course meal. Each night a different starter, soup and salad (no choice but always very good), choice of main course, usually meat, fish or vegetarian and choice of 2 desserts. You are given the same table each evening. There are several different dining rooms all with an individual feel and all very nice. The wine list was extensive to say the least, we opted for local German wines which were all very good. Liked the fact that each course was served with a decent gap in between so you were not rushed. For two of the nights we had a young waiter, think his name was Maximilian, he was put on our table as his English was the best of all the staff and we were the only English speaking guests they had had in a while. The service he gave us was very polished and we really felt well looked after. The breakfast was served in several different rooms but with a buffet area in each room so never far to go. They had an area were you could get fresh cooked eggs or omelettes which was a nice touch. Everything you would expect on the buffet and everything replenished promptly. Got to say the only thing I did not like, for me, was the coffee and I could not seam to make a decent cup of tea even though they had English breakfast. The other thing was that they did not seam to have hand sanitiser in all the rooms, sharing serving utensils is never good at the best of times, they had plastic gloves that you could use although most guest did not use them, I would strongly suggest that you do, for your safety, we are still living in Covid times even though we are all vaccinated. No the hotel is not near the lake but the lake is huge and you still have to drive to the different areas if you want to do everything. The hotel provides a good base for most things and at a good price. Ample parking both outside and indoor garage. There are swimming pools and spas which we did not use. There are two bars which can be easily missed downstairs in the basement, both with a different vibe and very good efficient service and good prices for the drinks. Really can not fault the service, everyone so very friendly at this hotel even the lovely guys making the omelettes at breakfast, the staff worked really hard to make sure everything ran like clockwork. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return if ever in the area.

Auf der Hinfahrt in unsere Ski Ferien in der Schweiz, haben wir hier am Bodensee einen Stopover von 2 Nächten eingelegt. Ich hatte das schon lange vorher reserviert, und die e-mail Korrespondenz verlief reibungslos. Der Check-in, und das verstehe ich überhaupt nicht, nachdem ich das 3 Tage vorher erhaltene Angebot des Online Check-ins wahrgenommen hatte verlief ausgessprochen zähflüssig. 15 Minuten, das ist einfach für ein Haus dieser Kategorie zuviel. Aber das, so muss ich dann sagen, war wirklich der einzige Negativ-Posten bei unserem 2-tägigen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Wir hatten ein Suite im Landhaus gebucht, und das war einfach nur toll, geräumiges Zimmer, in absolut ruhiger Lage. Das Frühstück, sensationell gut, es fehlte an nichts. Die abendliche Halbpension war stimmig und sehr schmackhaft. Personal durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dieses Hotel kann ich wärmstens empfehlen. bdzons

Betten waren gut. Essen hervorragend, Mitarbeiter hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich, Wellnessbereich sehr schön, Salzgrotte richtig guttuend.Hallenbad und Freibad gut temperiert. Mit dem Bus war Friedrichshafen in ca. 40 Minuten zu erreichen.

Wir haben uns für ein paar Tage am Bodensee im Ringhotel eingebuchtet und fanden das Hotel sehr schön. Leider gibt es aber Ansichten eines Mitarbeiters, die haben Kindergarten Niveau. Im Wellnessbereich darf der Gast keine eigenen Getränke zu sich nehmen auch wenn er diese vielleicht benötigt. Wörtliche Aussage des Mitarbeiter (Aufsichtspersonal) „ Wir verdienen hier unser Geld mit dem Verkauf unserer Getränke“. Echt armselig bei Übernachtungspreisen jenseits der 150€ für Einzelzimmer. Laut seiner Aussage gibt es die Vorhabe von seinem Chef. Ob das stimmt ? Das wirklich schlimme daran war, das Getränk samt der Becher wurde einfach entsorgt und nicht nur zur Seite gestellt. Auch der Ton mit dem der Gast angesprochen wurde war frech, herabsetzend und überheblich. Einem solchen Hotel in dieser Kategorie echt unwürdig. Leider war der Tonfall eines jungen Mitarbeiters am Empfangstresen dem Gast gegenüber auch nicht gerade freundlich, auch hier kam eine gewisse freche und überhebliche Art herüber. Zum Glück waren es Einzelfälle allerdings werten sie das Hotel massiv ab. Deshalb unsere schlechte Bewertung. Hier sollte dringendes nachbesteuert werden, denn so wie es sich zeigte, waren wir nicht die einzigen mit diesen Erfahrungen. Ansonsten ein schönes Hotel.
