Serendipity leads us to the best places, Ayacara House being one of them. The quality of my rest was equally matched by the view from the windows directly above the lake and the pot of hot coffee in the morning. I now have a go-to place when I land in Puerto Montt, and that place feels like home.

We stayed in a room with a view to the lake (the hotel is steps away from the water) . Very clean and spacious and with very comfortable bed . It is evident that the facilities had been recently renovated , with top notch linens and towels . Service was excellent, with personnel showing great care for us having a comfortable stay . Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was abundant and included fresh pastries , bread , fruit , and eggs. Kudos to the administration for restoring this old house , making sure they have personnel with great attention to detail, and making it a great destination for visiting the area .

My husband and I are so happy we chose Casa Ayacara to stay at in Frutillar, Chile. Margara, Sofia and the rest of the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. The hotel itself is a beautiful, historic establishment and it is roomy, comfortable and super pristine. The location is perfect, and our room had a view of the Osorno volcano and the lake. Frutillar is such a lovely place as well. Thank you to everyone at Casa Ayacara for a wonderful stay!

The birds (raucus Bandurria) are up at 6:30am, and so are you, except there is no breakfast until 8am! The rooms away from the view might not be as noisy, but I doubt it. It's a lovely old hotel, but I won't be back.

Muy buena atención. El hotel es un lugar muy acogedor, excelentemente ubicado. Tiene todo lo necesario para disfrutar y estar muy cómodo. Él desayuno es muy bueno, con un kuchen increíble. La pieza del hotel es muy cómoda, bien calefaccionada y amplia.

Excelente equipo! El trato de su gente muy cordial y cariñosos, nos hicieron sentir como en casa! El lugar muy lindo y el desayuno exquisito, vale la pena qued**** en un lugar así ❤️ nos fuimos muy contentos del lugar, vi muchas ganas de volver.

Excelente, el hotel es una casa patrimonial frente al lago. La pieza preciosa, con vista espectacular al lago y al teatro del lago. El personal encantador. Muy buenos desayunos. Muy limpio. Muchos restaurantes alrededor, todo caminable.
