Avis : Bessho Sasa

It was a perfect stay at Bessho Sasa my family and I really appreciated the superb service the staff provided my family (I travelled with my 88-year old mum so we had quite a lot of needs) with. I had left some items in the room and they promptly had it couriered to me in Tokyo. The dinners each night were very well prepared, each day was fun-filled with so many activities. The Taiko show was done so professionally I was surprised that the drummers were all staff of the resort!! I would love to re-visit the resort again some day.

This is the BEST Japanese hotel I've ever stayed, best facilities and Services, with Mt Fuji view right in your room. We've requested to stay in room 442, which has the best view of Mt. Fuji from the Onsen in your room

This was the most incredible hotel I’ve ever been to. The staff are so attentive and helpful and friendly. There are so many things to do and eat and the food quality is top notch. They have a beautiful view of mt. Fuji as well. Highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!

Nothing to complaint about this hotel. Everything was perfect, we enjoyed our time staying in this hotel and wished it could be extended.

Room is very luxurious but Mt Fuji was clouded during our stay. Hotel grounds are lovely. Dinner service in room was very good. Breakfast spread is big but quality not fantastic as with most buffets.

Tea service closed before we could get in. Wine lounge closes at weird hours. Breakfast was not good for the price. Bed was nice but overall not worth the price.

I was very satisfied with every aspect of my stay.  Hotel interior was beautiful and pictures can’t do justice to how amazing the views of Mt. Fuji were.  Service was incredible and the in room dinner was amazing.  Would definitely come back for another stay.

Enjoyed our stay at Bessho Sasa. The view of Mount Fuji is beyond amazing especially from the rooftop open air onsen area. The dinner provided in the half board package is a full nine course dinner Japanese cuisine menu which is perfect if you are a Japanese cuisine fan like me. The room was smaller than I expected, however it was sufficient for the three of us with each of us having our own very comfortable single bed to sleep in. Complete amenities and the service is excellent. Would definitely go back there again.

The hotel is incredible nice view and environment.  good for relaxing and doing onsen.

service upon and during stay were great! however the staff were really indifferent after we checked out :( i am almost 7 months pregnant with a big belly and was standing in the cold with my luggages waiting for my husband but no one offered help. the staff just walked past me.. the cleanliness can be improved, we found a used plaster in our room at our private open air bath. and the showering area drainage is clogged, when we showered our feet became oily from the clogged drain. but i must say we loved the amenities and activities provided by the hotel which included the taiko drum and piano performances in the night, as well as the free yukata rental. loved the view from hotel even more! private open air bath in the room was great and temperature of the water can be adjusted by the hotel personnel as well, just give the reception a call. the mt fuji view from the open air bath on in our room was not fantastic as it was on the left side, but it was good enough. just a small view of the whole mountain. my husband went to the public open air onsen on the 10th floor (segregated timings for men and women respectively) and he said the view of the mt fuji was very very nice, five times better than in the room, and the mountain looked bigger and nearer. the in room dining for dinner was 8 course meal and very filling. loved the black wagyu fillet steak (small piece, can’t choose doneness, it was well cooked). it was delicious! the breakfast buffet at garden terrace had good view of the gardens too. had a wide variety of food from japanese to western. very sumptuous. check in early after 2.30pm to enjoy the amenities and services! you get to enjoy complimentary tea at at the tea house but it closes at 6pm. club lounge free snacks and drinks will end at 6pm too.

Great Mt. Fuji views and great food

Served in-room dinner was excellent. A lot of stuff to do within the hotel including outdoor hotspring, tea house, foot bath, shopping, club lounge, drum show, etc. Room was great with private bath. Overall staff were helpful and warm except for those at the check in counter
