Really love the short walk from the hotel to the central hakata station. The room is big and spacious, and has a warmth feeling. It has a very modern take, which i like.

Great location of this.hotel. Nearby to Hakata Station. It just 5 to 10 minutes walk depand on your speed. Worth value of money. I will come back and stay in this hotel again in future. There also lots of eater rounding the hotel.

Excellent location, 10mins walk to fukuoka station, and yet away from noisy area. Matress quality excellent. Choose basics 4 room, big room, big bathtub. Service i give 3star because i am 1hour early arrived at hotel 2pm, the room is ready but the reception request for additional money to check in, is typhoon day and we couldnt go anywhere.inconsiderate service.

Good hotel, great services! Could be better to improve the breakfast items by changing some items daily as we stayed for 4 nights and all items are the same. However, the quality and the taste are good.

I booked a room for three person for three nights, the booking is clearly stated that my room can accompany 2 adults and one 12 years old kid. After we checked in and my wife went to check-in counter and requested to have one more duvet to my kid, but the staff told my wife that they can’t provide one more duvet as the room rate is not included kid bedding. This is ridiculous to me as my booking is stated very clear that the room rate is included three peoples during my bookings. I don’t mind to pay any extra fees cost to the extra people if needed during my booking. I am not request an extra bed but only a duvet. They should stated clearly during our booking instead of refuse our request after we checked in especially in winter session.

The Basics Fukuoka has an impressive hotel lobby with tall shelves extending up to a lofty ceiling. My room was clean and cozy. The breakfast buffet was delicious. Thank you for the comfortable stay.

great service provided by the staff at the reception they are able to communicate in english and helped with our delivery of baggage to the next hotel fuss free and overall a great experience

Spacious but basic room in a minimalist style, equipped with a coffee machine and smart TV, though lacking traditional storage like wardrobes; instead, there are hangers on the wall. The bathroom combines the shower and bathtub in one space, unlike other hotels where they are typically separate. Decent location, 10 minutes walk from Hakata train station. For parking, consider street options outside for better rates compared to the hotel's basement. Limited amenities, but the lobby is beautifully designed. The view from Room 603 is obstructed and unimpressive.

Pros: Stunning lobby, nice decoration! Room very clean. breakfast is ok, got what u’ve paid! Cons: front desk staff (most young female) are very arrogant and hostile to female guest (?) I see a big smile serving a guy on the other counter. No hospitality at all! speak only very limited English, not prepared for foreign guest. No concierge, not helpful even disabled aged guest! Room very stylish and clean but …. No bedside table, ONE chair in a twin bed room, have to share the chair in a 2-guest room?!!!? No usb (may borrow from front desk) only ac adapter, OMG! the config like 20 yrs and no upgrade! One more, need to pay yen300 if u ask front desk calling taxi.

As EXPECTED, Breakfast ok, awesome lobby, very stylish and clean! But more on unexpected Front office staff - limited English. Apple TV suddenly down, just restart our room wifi can fix, but the staff insist using his iPhone 10 trying for more than 30 mins and said use ‘cast’ is ok. OMG! I don’t want to see YT, and I have 3 iPhones (model 15, 13, 12) and 2 iPads, NONE can reconnect. What I can say is…. the best of the Bascis have already shown on the website (room size, amenities brand, lobby), hardware is “got you have paid”. Software is off. Heard the Basics is Ex-Grand Hyatt, meaning the architecture did not change and that’s the only part I appreciate. What did the current hotel management do to improve? Im afraid I can’t see any! PS. Experienced another hotel in this trip, totally different thing.
