Avis : The Basics Fukuoka

Séjour de 4 jours dans cet hôtel à 15 MINUTES en métro de l'aéroport et 7 minutes de la gare HARATA ( exist 7. EAST ) précision importante car la gare est immense et l'on s'y perd .le service des check se font de manière digitale.Le personnel est au petIt soin et d'une grande gentillesse. l'hôtel est magnifique avec une architecture originale. la chambre spacieuse et les sanitaires ( styles cabine) font l'objet d'un entretien minutieux (chausson pyjama- nécessaire de toilettes, nous avions vu sur le parc et les chambres bien insonorisées. Nous n'avons pris le petit déjeuner qu'une seule fois car il ne correspondait pas à nos attentes et la possiblité de petit-déjeuner et diner tout autour sont nombreux. un rapport qualité prix incroyable digne de nos 5 étoiles

This is our second try at this hotel in Hakata and really is not worth staying here. The staff are again robotic and totally have no service mentality. No greeting of guests and not helpful in any occasions. A simple task like asking for help to call a bigger taxi also couldn't fulfill as they can only call a normal taxi.on a separate note, the bath towel was also tiny in size and I mistook it as a hand towel. Overall, it was not worth for the hotel to be rated even 4 stars. The management should be responsible to rectify if they want to stay in business. I defintely will not return here for a stay.

The hotel is in a nice area off Hakata station and takes about 7 minutes on foot. The bed and pillows were not comfortable, feels like got bed bugs. Extremely uncomfortable. The staff are also very mechanical and speak little English.

Basically the room is clean and spacious. However, need to put the” clean the room tag” in front of the door in order to have the room clean up else they will just leave a pack of towels and two bottles of water in front of the door. Tried the breakfast at Why Not, but it is not up to my expectations. The coffee and dessert at The Local cafe downstairs are not bad.

We booked a twin room Chapter4 with 2 small double beds. The space is big which is good for us as we have 2 active toddlers and it was just nice for them to move around in the room. Bed size is just nice. We requested kids toiletries and the hotel provided kid's toilet seat and toothbrush. Buffet breakfast option available but we didn't try as ¥3500/adult is a bit pricey. We settled breakfast at konbini steps away from the hotel. There is a small Cafe just next to the hotel for caffeine fix, nice coffee at reasonable price. No coin laundry available, I have to drive 5mins to get one. Location wise,, it took us about 10mins walk from Hakata station and that means quieter environment. In short, I recommend it for family stay with kids as it offers bigger room space, reasonable price, quiet environment and near to Hakata station.

The room is so big. The washroom design is great and convenience be used for a family. The location is about 7 mins walk from Hakata station. Not bad.

Beautiful hotel lobby and room. My family also enjoyed the lounge that comes with episode rooms.

Perfect location, 7 mins walk from Hakata Station and there is a Family Mart nearby which is super convenient. We bought our breakfast and dessert from Family Mart.  Rooms are spacious and kids friendly (kid slippers and toothbrush were provided. They also provided a baby crib upon request). The brand of high chair in Why Not is stokke! We enjoyed the stay a lot.

I like the simple and yet sufficient amenities in hotel. I can work out daily in gym followed by a light breakfast in “the Local” coffee shop. Hotel is around 10 mins walk to Hakata station, facing a park with schools around in a quiet & relaxing neighborhood. Except there was smell in the bathroom which i guess was from the drainage, overall hygiene was satisfactory.

Very good location within 10mins walk to main Hakata station. Great food options in the vicinity. Hotel was beautiful and very quiet. Bed was a bit too soft for me but still very restful sleeps.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. close to everything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout my stay. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and pleasant stay!

A comfortable and amazing hotel. The lobby is super beautiful.

Nicely decorated and conveniently located in a quiet area. Walking distance to Hakata Station. Helpful staff. Room size was fine, not too small.

Front desk can be more welcoming and warm.
