the hotel is nice but the guest room is not. much space is not usable, for example, a useless corner right at the back of the door, another useless corner in the shower area. insufficient sockets. we were expecting a guest room with a little balcony, as seen on the trip.com website. it came out to be a room with an open kitchen area.

Endroit idéalement situé pour la neige le ski et les belles randos. Repas très copieux et goûteux. Patricia est au petit soin pour que tout se passe bien. Je recommande vivement et on s'y retrouve l'année prochaine pour skier ensemble. Michel

Une ambiance familiale, le personnel sympa et disponible, à votre écoute, toujours prêt à rendre service, de la femme de ménage à la Directrice, on se sent chez soi. Et merci à Brigitte, la petite française, non pas née en Provence je crois (?), comme le chante Michèle Torr: "Une petite française Née en Provence Quand elle avait quinze ans Vint à Gabicce Mare Épousa la chanson Ne changea pas son nom Et la voilà devant vous aujourd'hui... Point Positifs : Un cadre exceptionnel : la vue est magnifique. Un accès à la mer très proche. Des chambres calmes, nous avions les chambres 505 et 506, très propres et un personnel de nettoyage très sympathique. Les services proposés comme les linges, à demander à la réception, pour la piscine et leurs accords avec les plagistes. Le barman est super sympa, et inventif. Il faut essayer son Spritz maison, super !!. Les dames du service du petit déjeuner très gentilles malgré le monde qui fait la queue... La direction très à l'écoute des clients. Points à améliorer : Petit déjeuner : viennoiserie sèche, jus de fruit chimique. On a l'impression de déranger quand on veut prendre le petit déjeuner dehors. Les serveurs tournent et il faut les attraper au vol pour commander ses boissons chaudes. Le restaurant : nous y avons mangé une seule fois en 8 jours, à notre arrivée. Nous n'avons pas aimé, rare en Italie et dans mes avis ... Le parking : il faut aller à chaque fois en entrant et sortant demander qu'on vous ouvre à l'accueil ... c'est pas digne du standing. En améliorant l'organisation par une définition des tâches de chacun pourrait améliorer la situation. Les serveurs jeune, malgré le fait qu'il soit très serviable et avenant, auraient besoin d'un meilleur encadrement.

We had a five night stay at this hotel with friends, we were three couples and they had out our rooms together. We didn’t bother to upgrade our room and they were all fine, all different but all fine. Comfy beds! We used the monorail from the airport to get to Bologna train station ansd then hit a train to Gabicce. It was pretty straight forward and easy and really cheap. There’s a taxi rank at the station to take you to hotel which is 5 mins away. The staff were friendly at the hotel and the new bar man Bunny is super friendly and great at card tricks. We felt a little misled about the write up saying the hotel offers a roof top pool- this is for suite guests only and not everyone, although there was a private function one afternoon and the hotel was rammed so we asked if we could use of for an hour and they manager allowed us. The food selection (we were bed breakfast and evening meal) was great, not everything to our taste but there was plenty of stuff to chose from and you’ll never go hungry. The glass of wine with dinner was good too. The man front of house in the restaurant is really friendly too. The pool area is small but very nice. There’s a path down to the beach (there’s a few so find one that isn’t overgrown) and the beach is beautiful. It was very quiet at the beginning of May and the sun beds were only just being put out but I should imagine on a couple weeks it’ll be buzzing. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful hotel and area, quite time of the year, all the beach's & bar's being renovated gonna look stunning, food was 90% great, Wi-Fi good pools ok staff fantastic, only one gripe the bottled water a meal times was out of the tap so the bottles smelt stale (3 euros) I'd would definitely return,

Had a fantastic time staying at this hotel. The staff were fantastic from th minute we walked in.The receptionist were all wonderful, all was spotless. Best of all, the food was lovely. Great choice for breakfast and dinner. The service from the catering and bar staff was 5 star. The room had wonderful views. the only issue was the shower cubicle on the small side. We had the transfer pick from and to the airport. The driver was brilliant .

What a delightful hotel with delicious food and great service. Our room had a wonderful sea view, was very clean and good storage (with a fridge and safe). The balcony was a lovely place to sit at any time of the day or night. We were on half board basis which was ideal. Breakfast had a great choice of fruit, pastries, meat, cheese, egg, bacon, juices, bread etc etc. You could ask for your eggs cooked any way. The evening meal is buffet style for the first course and dessert with three choices each for the second and third courses. We both thoroughly enjoyed all the meals we had. The Italian/Lancashire maitre de is wonderfully efficient with a great sense of humour. The waitresses and waiters are friendly and helpful with great service. The bar and reception are together on the ground floor, all the staff gave a warm welcome, were helpful at all times and enhanced our stay. The area is welcoming and comfortable. We went on the half day trip to San Marino which was well worth doing. There are four swimming pools, some people were braving the outdoor pools, I stuck to the heated indoor/outdoor pool which was perfect at this time of year. Gabbice Mare had largely shut for the winter but we found a different cafe each day for lunch. Lovely walks all round, especially the promenade. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and give thanks and appreciation to all the staff. One word of warning - the mosquitoes were on the hunt (they love my blood). Take your spray and use it night and day.

Thank you for a lovely relaxing holiday with you. Surpassed our expectations! The hotel is managed and run by two lovely ladies who made us feel so welcome and their supporting team were so attentive too. The beautiful hotel is situated in a perfect place, lots of rural walks nearby and the sandy beach is just a short stroll away. Our room was spacious, with a balcony that overlooked the sea, very comfortable and clean with an adequate bathroom too. Would highly recommend Hotel Sans Souci and hopefully we will be back again soon.
