The hotel is centrally based but looks tired. Most of the staff do not speak English. The rooms were large and basic with very hard beds. Wi-Fi is ok but there was no mini bar or tea/coffee making facilities. Safe was there but was locked. Dinner was arranged in the downstairs cafe/bar. Most of the items on the menu were unavailable. Wine by the glass was on the menu but you had to buy a bottle. Breakfast was arranged for 7.30 but was not produced till 8. On the whole it had a run down feel.

A simple hotel with clean rooms and reasonable facilities which all worked well and we had a comfortable stay there - no complaints & good value for the money paid. Breakfast was great - a huge tray full of all sorts of breakfast foods was brought to our table for us to feast on - fresh, plentiful and yum ! Location of the Vego is excellent - right in the city centre next to or within a short walk of the all of the main city sights. We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Vego and considering the limited options for decent hotels in ***** this is probably one of the best options (certainly THE best in terms of location!). Would happily recommend and would stay again if in *****.

The hotel is overpriced in comparison to its poor service. In our room, there was not even enough toilet paper and towels. Breakfast (it was not even an open buffet despite the price) was served with very low-quality products in broken tableware.

Where to start actually, it was the worst experience in my life. Personally, I have never expected from a hotel, which is the rating itself as a five stars hotel can be so I’m tolerated and undisciplined. We stayed there for one night and at 12 AM. Just the next to our door we heard very loud music and people, shouting and screaming and yelling to each other in an appropriate manner. It lasted until 2 PM when I was so pissed off that I had no other choice to go back to reception and ask them to take care of that stuff. After that at 4 PM they started again even louder again I was forced to go again and speak with the reception stuff but again this people didn’t listen and they only finished at 4:30 AM so overall that kind of behavior and attitude is showing that the hotel doesn’t follow its own internal policy. In addition, to that the higher rates of the rooms made an overall bad taste and experience of that hotel I strongly discourages everybody to stay there, and twice before booking.
