The Ascent Suites Genting Highlands

Hotel doesn't have any indication of The Ascent Suites. It show other name so u need to go in and check. When it's found, the check in process also slow. Hotel had shuttle service toward first world at 7rm each pax and it's 7km distance. Door of the hotel is very hollow so u WILL heard door sound like pong pong pong the whole day and during your sleep causes by heavy wind. Hotel should provide door stopper to prevent this issue.

It was quite an awful experience staying in this hotel room! The room is not clean, hair everywhere, the hair band found in washroom with hairsssss. Yiakkkk ~~ There is no service to comment, zero interaction. However I like the location of this hotel, it is away from Genting highland 10 min drive. Hence, there is no crowd and no noise. Very peaceful.

This hotel took a bit longer to check in even though there were not many guests to entertain. I arrived around 7.00pm but they said my room is "not ready" yet (but she said housekeeping was done earlier). Check-in counter is at Jade tower (tower 2)..but we need to park at Tower 7 and stay at Tower 1. What?? To me this is so ridiculous.. and then, when I'm about to enter my room, I found the card is not functioning..I REPEAT, I CANNOT ENTER MY ROOM AND I NEED TO WAIT AROUND ONE HOUR WITH THE KIDS IN FRONT OF THE DOOR. But after someone came, he used his master card to open my door and asked me to update my own card "when I'm free" at Tower 2. Why do I need to go through this hassle and make it so complicated?? I feel very disappointed and tired to entertain all this nonsense. However, luckily this room is well maintained & clean..

Had a great stay at The Ascent Suites in Genting Highlands! The location is convenient—just a short drive to the main attractions but tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The suite was clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. Loved the big windows and cool mountain breeze! The check-in process was smooth and the staff were friendly. There’s a small kitchen area, which is handy if you’re staying more than a night. Wi-Fi was decent, and the bed was comfy too.

A few suggestions for future guests: the bed is surrounded by mirrors, which might feel a bit unsettling at night, so it’s good to be mentally prepared. I’d recommend wearing slippers indoors, as walking barefoot isn’t very comfortable. The dining table had some leftover cleaning residue, so it’s worth wiping down again before use. The toilet could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Also, while I didn’t use the air conditioner, the room felt a bit stuffy — adding a fan would help improve ventilation. After all it’s a comfortable and spacious place. With a few minor improvements, it could be an excellent stay.

Scenery superb! Cleanness rate 2/10 Iron not provided. Toilet cleanness very poor, there is mold at the shower area. Swimming pool not so clean. A bit creepy. Heard footsteps from upper level.. heard someone walking out of the door.
