L'hôtel est un peu vieillot. Néanmoins pour le prix proposé c'était une bonne affaire.

Service is very good from checking in to check out especially at the concierge However, the rooms are abit run down, and there is a damp smell makes it not very comfortable. The power plug location is not practical, it should be at the side table not otherwise.
Breakfast was okay nice spread.

had to wait more than an hour to get a room pre booked weeks ago. no arrival refreshments were offered till had to ask for it. after showing displeasure only then the staff tried to do some recovery.hotel entrance not disabled friendly as well as no ramp to bring your luggages up. luckily there was potters available for both check in and out. overall if not for the location, would definitely not recommend

I recently stayed at the Berjaya Hotel in Penang and found the experience to be a mix of comfort and inconvenience. The bed was notably comfortable, providing a good night's rest. However, my stay was marred by significant noise issues. It seemed like there was a lot of disturbance coming from the surrounding rooms, particularly when someone next door used water facilities. I suspect the main water compressor might be located near my room (2209), which contributed to the noise levels.The hotel, in general, shows signs of aging. While it maintains a classic charm, it would benefit greatly from refurbishment to enhance the overall guest experience. This update could really elevate the hotel to the standard one expects from a property in such a prime location.
