Réponse de l'établissement: I'm very disappointed with Anne's review. It is unfair for Anne to blame the hostel, or myself, for her choices. All guests and staff deserve to be treated with respect, no matter what their age. Anne was part of a tour group that were running very late in regards to their arrival time at the hostel. This meant there was no time for her to enjoy what the hostel or Geraldton has to offer. Anne was extremely aggressive and rude to myself and another guest. Anne booked a budget tour, which would have clearly listed the accommodation type throughout the trip. It is clear from Anne's review that she did not read any of the information she was sent in regards to the tour. I am not connected to the Tour company, so she should not be blaming me for anything she is not happy about. Anne thought it was acceptable to barge in and speak over me, making a number of demands when I was serving a guest. I mearly asked her to wait until I was free then I would be happy to attend to her. As soon as I was free, I happily attended to her and forgave her for her rudeness. The guest I was serving prior, however, was not impressed with Anne's behaviour. Anne also thought it was OK to breach our security. I make no apology for advising her that this was not acceptable behaviour. Our hostel is situated in the centre of the city walking distance to shops and restaurants. There are beautiful beaches at the back of the property and we are walking distace to 11 of Geraldton's fantastic attractions.

As you were part of the large Tour group you were in the 7 bed dorm room. There are 2 sets of stairs to access the first floor. The main stair case and the fire escape. You chose the fire escape which is steeper. Thank you for mentioning how nice our bathrooms and kitchen are. We hope we have the pleasure of welcoming you back again in the future.

Réponse de l'établissement: Thank you for your review, and thank you for appreciating the efforts we go to explaining the layout of the interior to our guests. Our beautiful Heritage Listed Building was renovated only a few years ago, both the interior and the exterior. I am sorry you did not appreciate our Heritage Listed Building. You were given a choice of a single room right next to the other female tour group guests that was also close to the female bathroom. However you chose the single room with the TV that was located in the opposite wing which had the French Doors opening onto the Terrace with the sea view. This room also has its own security screen door so you were always able to have fresh air and security. At the time you made your selection you were well aware of the location of both rooms and the location of the female bathroom, I am very confused why you are now complaining about your selection. We went out of our way to assist you and give you the choice, it appears now, it was impossible to make you happy. There were only 7 female guests in your tour group. We have not had any previous complaints in regards to our female bathroom.

Réponse de l'établissement: I am confident the public will see from our other reviews that we offer a high level of customer service and look after our guests during their stay with us. Monica is a very volatile and unpredictable person, who trated guests, management and staff extremely badly. We would never treat our guest as Monica has stated here, it would not be in the best interest of our business. Threatening, abusive and erratic behaviour towards staff and guests will not be tolerated. For the safety of staff and guests Monica was asked to leave the property. It is disappointing that Monica has chosen to write a review which is not true. We would not accept Monica as a guest in the future.Our fantastic location and facilities ensure our guests are in a safe relaxed environment. Guests are able to enjoy the outdoor garden areas, two TV rooms, and our fantastic fully equipped kitchen. We offer guests a choice of rooms including private Single, Queen, Twin or shared dorm rooms. Staff are always available to assist guests in any way they can.
