Hôtels proches de Yoker, Glasgow

Great start to our holiday. Evening meal, nice room, very good breakfast and shuttle to the airport. Car left for the fortnight we were away. On our return, the shuttle bus came very promptly to take us back to collect our car. This is the second time we have stayed, and will do so again. Staff were great too!

L'hôtel semblait un peu fatigué et a besoin de quelques tlc, le personnel est très aimable quand il parlait à la bar et le personnel aide. La zone du bar semblait un peu crampée et terrible. Notre chambre était censée être exécutive mais se sentait assez crampée. La salle de bains n'avait pas d'espace pour mettre les toilettes dans ou en dehors de la douche et le toilette dans un espace très fermé entre le mur et la porte de douche en verre. La chambre était propre mais le lit était dur et aucun d'entre nous n'a pu dormir beaucoup parce qu'il fallait continuer à déplacer le joint de la nuque si souvent. La chambre était au deuxième étage et absolument grillable de sorte que le fan devait garder toute la nuit qui était vraiment bruyant aussi bien. Le petit déjeuner était abondant et bien arrivé, mais un peu dégusté. Généralement décevante séjour pour notre anniversaire.

We booked this as we knew our flight home to Glasgow Airport was landing late and we could not face the long drive home at such a time. By the time we cleared with our bags and walked to the hotel from the terminal it was 2am when we checked in. Unfortunately we were given room 115, which was opposite the elevators on the first floor. It was also not only an accessible room with wet bathroom (no shower unless you wanted to flood the whole room) but also had a ”connecting” door to the next room. No idea who was on the either side, but not ideal for either of us given our late arrival. I was feeling extremely tired and and went straight to my bed - unfortunately it was far too soft and it was a double, so we tended to fall into the middle where the ”hole” or ”dip” in the mattress was. With us both trying to sleep on the outside of the mattress for comfort we continually pulled the small duvet from each other in an attempt to keep warm after our return from Africa. The pillows were also too soft for my liking, however that was minor compared to the mattress. There hours later, at around 5am the corridor started coming alive with excited children heading off on their holidays, running and squealing, literally!! I can't blame them for being enthusiastic, but perhaps their parents might have understood that some guests might still wish to sleep at that time? Thus our morning continued so when we finally dragged ourselves up for breakfast around 9am I was extremely tired and somewhat grumpy... Now to breakfast; a fairly good selection was on offer if you came at a quiet time. I saw some guests leave towards the end our meal time as they did not want to wait in the queue for what was left. My main gripe about the breakfast was again, not the hotel's fault, but the guests, who presumably are not used to staying in hotels and don't know what swerving utensils are for. I saw one female guest pick up and touch several slices of bread and returning them before picking what she put in the toaster machine. I purposely picked a slice she hadn't pawed and waited whilst it went through the machine, then just as it arrived a young man (her son I believe) whisked it away in front of me. Manners non existent. The breakfast staff were helpful and friendly and the food on offer was perfectly adequate if all the guests knew how to behave. All in all, we picked this hotel for a catch up sleep after a late flight in and we didn't achieve that so we will not be back.

La chambre était confortable, propre et confortable. Le restaurant est très bien situé, mais il est très bien situé, et il est très bien situé.

Nous venons juste d'un séjour d'une nuit voyageur avec des voyages calédoniens.premières impressions belle propre hôtel.camera très belle et spacieux puis il descend la colline met la télévision sur non programmé, donc nous avons rang la réception ils ont dit que nous parlerons à un collègue et Revenez à nous nous attendons encore à la réception de la téléphonie.Il a fallu une demi-heure pour reprogrammer notre propre télévision.Nous avons été dits par notre chauffeur qu'il était très occupé et nous devons rester à notre heure de repas nous avons été donnés 8h. parce que le superviseur grec nous a demandé d'attendre dix minutes après 55 minutes nous avons demandé de nous asseoir à 9.20 nous avons été donnés luke chaud soupe personnel ne reconnaissant pas que nous devions aller au bar pour demander notre nourriture 9.40 nous avons un dîner de poulet nous n'avons pas attendu Entourant le déssert, le superviseur a dit qu'il cloche en et en et que la direction supérieure avait donné notre temps de dîner ce n'est pas d'aide.Le petit déjeuner était meilleur comme liz le serveur était en beaucoup plus de contrôle je retourne pas jamais ils ne devraient pas surcharger le L'hôtel est un hôtel comme ils ont fait parce que vous marchez avec vos pieds et utilisez d'autres marques d'hôtel sont le service clientèle est un must.Cet hôtel n'est pas adapté aux fêtes de coach car il ne peut pas faire face à plus d'un coach.

Marr Hall is currently being refurbished which had an impact on our stay. Our room was on the ground floor but we had to take the lift down, walk along a labyrinth of corridors, go up a set of stairs to arrive at our room. The corridors we walked along had a disgusting smell of damp which was putrid in certain sections of the corridors. If we’d had rooms there I would have been complaining. Our rooms were old, dated but clean with comfortable beds. Windows had been opened in both of the rooms we had but in one room the windows would not close and needed 3 members of staff to try before they got it shut. The radiators in the corridor were on full which caused us to be so uncomfortably hot during the night. I have coeliac disease and was reassured I would be catered for. First breakfast we went in plenty of time but had to wait at least 15 minutes which meant the breakfast wasn’t being served for much longer. I had no cereal or toast offered and was told I should take some items from the buffet and a couple of items would be cooked in the kitchen. I noticed that guests were using the serving utensils between dishes which meant that there was a risk of cross contamination for me. I thought the chef should have known that and offered to cook my food in the kitchen. I asked if all my food could be cooked in the kitchen which was agreed. When it was brought out I was informed that the mushrooms were not available from the kitchen and the buffet mushrooms were all they had. Really? A large hotel had no mushrooms left in the kitchen? The second morning was better, I got mushrooms but no toast or cereal offered. The staff were lovely and helpful but I wouldn’t return until after the refurbishment had been done. Spa was good so that saved the relaxing weekend we wanted for celebrating my daughters upcoming wedding.

I stayed here for one night with my fiancé for Green day at Bellahouston park. The staff were very friendly and helpful could not fault them, the pub/restaurant deco was homely and welcoming with the bonus of a good size beer garden. Drinks were of good standard and a good variety. Good selection on the menu to suit everyone and the food was of good standard for pub grub. Service was quick and food was hot. The room faced onto the busy main road which was rather noisy but ear plugs are provided in the room. Hairdryer, shower caps, iron and full size iron board, fan, tea, coffee and biscuits were some of the facilities provided. Double bed was very comfortable, we both slept very well with our ear plugs in. The room was spotlessly clean. The breakfast consisted of bread to toast yourself, a mixture of cereals, yogurts, fruit, fruit juice and you can also order a full cooked breakfast, breakfast burger and a few other options that would suit most people from the menu. Service again was quick and friendly and our food was hot. We really enjoyed our stay here and we will definitely book again.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, mais il y a 8 ans, il a été accueilli dans cet hôtel, à mon dernier séjour à Glasgow, et tout en appréciant qu'il a récemment changé de mains, l'hôtel est très daté. L' hôtel est à une bonne position et le personnel de la réception est à la fois ami et utile .

L'emplacement de l'hôtel est un quartier calme, non loin du centre-ville, et il est pratique d'aller dans la rue piétonne. Le personnel de service est plus enthousiaste, le petit déjeuner est plus abondant et la variété est plus complète. Le robinet d'eau chaude et froide du lavabo de la salle de bain est séparé et peu utilisé. L'expérience globale est meilleure.

Thank you to the staff, as a solo traveller I was quite nervous but I felt so safe. Check in was smooth and friendly. The hotel is clean, stylish and smart. You need your room key to use the lifts so I felt so safe going to my room. I stayed in a double room and it was so spacious! Everything was tidy and well placed. Even though there was a fun fair on the next street it didn’t really bother me when I shut the window. It was my first time staying in an apart-hotel and I would definitely recommend! I didn’t know that having ice in the freezer and cutlery would make me so happy haha. I could chill my water and have a lovely meal in my room without having to fork out for a more expensive takeaway. I used the Tesco express down the street to get myself fresh food. The bathroom had a lovely heated towel Rail too so I had the warmest, fluffiest towel! Down in the lobby they have a Brita water filter, board games, extra kitchen equipment and food and drink. Will certainly return if I ever visit Glasgow again!
