The hotel is close to the highway and was an easy choice when you just need a quick overnight stay on the way to your final destination. Nice pool area, but hardly a hotel I would spend a week's holiday at.

Not happy with the amenities. It is advertised in having a spa and gym. Yet they were both closed for the season. How is that possible??? That was one of the main reasons we booked our stay at this hotel. There was a mini fridge which was supposed to be stocked. Nope. We were told that they changed their policy and so we had to get our water in the hallway using a dispenser.

We stayed at hotel villa medici while visiting family to celebrate a wedding. We had fond memories of the hotel from a previous stay however we ended up very disappointed. The rooms were clean however the beds were uncomfortable with limited space to keep our luggage. We only stayed 3 nights (one of the days we were at the wedding and the other two we planned on staying by the pool and enjoying the sun which was the reason for the choice of this particular hotel). One day we were told there were no life guards from 1-3pm so we couldn’t use the pool and the other day we were told to leave the outside space completely as they had a function on for a wedding they were accommodating. We had paid for the facilities, however were told we weren’t allowed to use them. The indoor pool was also closed as they said it was only opened from September during the winter period, however this as well as the lack of lifeguard and the fact there was a wedding on so we couldn’t use the facilities was not communicated and not evident anywhere on the website. The receptionist was rude and very abrupt and when we asked to speak to the manager to resolve the issues he said he was busy and refused to show face. We waited around for him for 2 hours one day and 1 on the other day and although he was supposed to be there he hid away and let the receptionist deal with the matter at hand, to which she had no power over. The customer service here was very poor and we felt very let down and unwelcome. Between us we had 4 younger children who we had to find other entertainment for and we practically kicked out. only to be allowed in our rooms. If we had just wanted a place to sleep we would’ve booked elsewhere that was cheaper and more hospitable. We shall not be coming here again, although they offered us a stay for 2 people for one night we couldn’t accept that as compensation for a sour end to our lovely holiday, travelling all the way from England, baring in mind there were 9 of us in total. False advertising, bad customer service and a manager who hid away.

L'hotel è accogliente così come tutto lo staff della reception. Ottima la colazione e la pulizia delle stanze. Peccato che è un pochino decentrato anche se dista solo 3 km dal centro balneare e dalla pista ciclabile della costa dei Trabocchi, per cui bisogna prendere la macchina.

Hotel realmente 4 stelle con tutti i servizi usufruiti ok. Unica pecca manca un deposito per le biciclette.

L’esperienza si riferisce ad un pranzo di gruppo effettuato nel ristorante dell’hotel. Ho fatto richiesta all’organizzatore di un menù vegetariano, ma nel 2024 siamo ancora molto arretrati su questo punto. Il pranzo era così composto da un antipasto di soli latticini (come se i vegetariani mangiassero formaggi a quintali) a mio avviso per variare il piatto potevano inserire delle olive, dei carciofini ecc.. Il primo invece era composto similmente a quello degli altri, ovvero gnocchi in crema di zucca, e invece dello speck vi erano i porcini (Sarebbero state gradite anche le noci come nei piatti degli altri, ma ai vegetariani non occorrono gli omega 3 quindi se ne poteva fare a meno) Il secondo era abbastanza triste, consisteva in sole melanzane e zucchine grigliate, tra l’altro ortaggi fuori stagione, che avevano il forte sapore di carne alla brace (evidentemente cucinate su delle griglie non lavate tra un alimento e l’altro). Per concludere poi con la torta. Mi auguro che l’organizzatore non abbia speso più di 20/22€ per questo menù. Il servizio buono, anche se un po’ lento. Al mio tavolo io iniziavo a mangiare quando gli altri avevano già terminato. Al tempo d’oggi c’è bisogno di un forte aggiornamento del bagaglio culturale da parte di cuochi e ristoratori per quanto riguarda le diverse diete alimentari e per soddisfare le diverse esigenze. La cucina è fatta di molta più varietà, (verdure di stagione, funghi, legumi, lavorazioni della soia, quali tofu, tempeh, ecc) Questa vuole essere solo una recensione costruttiva per migliorare.

Ambienti confortevoli e curati, abbiamo trovato in stanza una buona bottiglia di prosecco, in secchiello con ghiaccio, cena e colazione fatte nel ristorante al paino terra, personale preparato e attento.
