Avis : Slang Hotel (Guilin Elephant Trunk Hill Two Rivers Four Lakes)

La chambre est hygiénique et propre et l'espace est grand. La réception de l'hôtel a amélioré gratuitement la salle de sélection de lumière. Elle est située au 10ème étage et est très bien aménagée. le bord de la rivière Li à travers la fenêtre. L'hôtel est également très pratique. Allez dans les rues piétonnes Est et Ouest, la colline en trompe d'éléphant, la croisière sur la rivière Li et le palais Jingjiang sont tous à une distance de 400 à 1,2 kilomètres. Nous y avons tous navigué, ce qui était très pratique. Il y a de la limonade gratuite à la réception, et c'est bon quand on revient d'une sortie. Je pensais rester une journée, mais en raison du service de l'hôtel et de son bon emplacement, j'ai choisi de rester une nuit de plus.

L'hôtel bénéficie d'un excellent emplacement. A 700 mètres des Pagodes du Soleil et de la Lune et face aux rues piétonnes regorgeant d'innombrables restaurants, boutiques et produits régionaux. Les installations sont très bonnes, les chambres sont spacieuses et bien décorées. Nous avons réservé une chambre intelligente, le seul point est qu'elle n'est préparée que pour la langue chinoise. Bien que la plupart des membres du personnel ne parlent pas anglais, ils ont été très sympathiques et ont toujours essayé de rendre notre séjour agréable. Ils disposent d'une buanderie équipée d'un sèche-linge et d'un système de repassage, le tout gratuitement. Le petit-déjeuner n'a pas beaucoup d'options, mais ça va. Seuls deux points négatifs : le premier est que lorsque nous sommes entrés dans la chambre, il y avait une odeur de cigarette. Il Deuxièmement, la personne qui propose et conseille des excursions et balades ne parle que chinois et n'est pas très sympathique. Il n'a montré aucun intérêt à nous aider même si nous communiquions en chinois. Dommage car le reste du personnel est vraiment serviable et agréable.

Avantages : emplacement. A quelques minutes des rues piétonnes et des pagodes soleil lune donc c'est un peu plus calme mais toujours extrêmement pratique. Il y a une buanderie sur place avec deux machines à laver et deux sèche-linge, même si un sèche-linge était en panne pendant mon séjour là-bas, mais le personnel ne le savait pas. Points négatifs : L'hôtel est assez récent, donc ça sent encore assez lourd de construction. La propreté peut être améliorée - à première vue, tout a l'air propre jusqu'à ce que je déplace la table basse et que je trouve plein de coquilles de graines en dessous 😰 les coins sont poussiéreux, la bouilloire n'a pas été nettoyée par le locataire précédent. Mon plus gros reproche serait la sécurité de l'hôtel - j'avais besoin d'une carte-clé supplémentaire mais la réception ne m'a demandé aucune sorte de vérification d'identité, tout ce qu'elle a demandé, c'est mon numéro de chambre et m'a donné une nouvelle carte-clé. Le personnel a besoin d'une formation sérieuse en matière de sécurité.

Great hotel, nice, clean, modern, central location. We had a good view from the room and the room was spacious. There is a person available near reception that helps with tours. Breakfast is not very diverse but a normal mix of international and Asian cuisine. Definitely recommend this hotel.

It was nice to be upgraded to theme love room however the check in process took us 40 minutes to begin with. Upon entering the room was really hot and stuffy and after checking with its technician they said it’s centralised air conditioning and only at a later part in the evening will the temperature be turned down. Advised us to leave the hotel room for 3 hours and come back in the evening. We didn’t as we needed to rest a while and was sweating and stuffy with a tiny window to just open to allow for cooler air to come in. Returning in late evening just to bask into the room temperature of heater of 20c! It was truly truly hot! Why even turn on heater centralised conditioning??? There is no air conditioning to cool down the room such a horrible and worst hotel of our entire stay. Truly disappointed for the first night and even wanted to check out the second night but we are leaving Guilin so it was not worth the hassle. Location was on the spot however the room air conditioning is the most horrible in our entire stay and only heater was turned on. Burning sleep in the night and even burning during the day. Both was equally hot and sweaty night. Disappointed truly. Can’t even have a proper rest at this 4 star hotel. The outlook is not new it’s just inside was new probably. It’s bad not to have air conditioning and even worst when it’s central air conditioning turned to be heater mode day and night. It’s not really cold at Guilin either it’s hot there was sun. It was unpleasant stay sadly although the nice room was given on our honeymoon rest stop here.

Facilities were well-equipped and room was clean. Location is good too, just a few minutes away from the nearby walking street and iconic landmarks. Would recommend to others for a short stay in Guilin.

Hotel facilities are good, new, and the room is big. Everything in the room is modern and especially the beds and pillows. Both the queen size and the double size, pillows, are very comfortable and all family members were able to sleep within 10 minutes on the beds. Location is excellent, many scenic or historical sites are within walking distance.

We stayed for one night only, the hotel is alright overall. The good thing is the room is clean and some of the rooms has good view. And I think they hotel has two sides you should be able to see either sunrise or sunset from your room. The location is right in the city center very close to the main attractions. Here are things that I didn’t like, the room design is a bit strange as they have strangely big bathroom, almost as big as the room. The flushing button on the toilet is a bit inconveniant. The building itself is very old though the hotel is newly renovated. I also didn’t like the air con design as it’s not good at cooling the room, the bed near the window feels quite hot compare to the bathroom and the other bed. Some of the galss are sound proof glass but some are not, so there is slight noise if you sleep near the window.

Room was clean n functional. However location quite a distance from Wenchang Pier & the food street/night market. Room Check-in process can be improved. Quilt/blankets too thick n warm for spring weather though ok for winter.

Very reasonably priced hotel in a great area in the centre of Guilin. As the listing says, it is only a short walk from the scenic areas. There are also a lot of restaurants within walking distance that serve the local dishes like rice noodles and oil tea. Nice Chinese breakfast and a free late night snack at the front desk every night. There is also a tourist desk at reception for booking tours. We were able to buy tickets for the Li river cruise and a shuttle bus to the Longjing rice terraces here. The staff do not speak English but with a translator it wasn’t much of an issue and they were generally helpful. The name of the hotel on the listing also isn’t the same as the actual name of the hotel. It’s actually called Eeril hotel on the sign outside and some maps list it as Huiyu hotel not Slang hotel. We found it in the end but it was a little confusing at first.

Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. We mainly used their laundry service which was excellent. There was a great variety of food for the breakfast buffet which we did enjoy.

Very friendly staff. Convenient location. A good breakfast spread and love the dessert for supper. Will be visiting and staying in this hotel again.

Modern hotel and in walking distance to all attractions. Rooms are very spacious and clean.

Modern Hotel, very big but Quite noisy! And still a Bit smell of ‚new‘ but Overall good and clean
