Le personnel de cet hôtel était très aimable et professionnel. Les services étaient excellents aussi. Il dispose d'une bonne position et de bonne proximité avec le réseau de transport local

The receptionist was very cheerful and the room was very clean! It is also located conveniently in Downtown Calgary. However, the temperature of the shower can be a bit tricky to adjust as it will either be too hot or too cold. But I was very satisfied overall and would recommend this hotel to fellow solo travellers!

Not our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today! It began when the front desk couldn’t find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driver’s licence and go “somewhere to talk to someone in the back” - then he came back (after 2 or so  minutes) and “magically” the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered. Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldn’t tell us what item we had “consumed” (we hadn’t consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldn’t actually answer the question of “how do you know what to charge us for” and the response was “it’s for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anything”. Except that’s exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - “an item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20”. After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card. Made to feel like we had “stolen” something when we asked for further clarification on the charge. “No apologies or thank you for staying with us”. Disappointing. Side note - Service in the casino was great - including the restaurant.

The hotel itself was great and the staff was amazing and very helpful:) we just ended up there when there was a soccer tournament happening so it was absolutely crazy and in the pool there was some king of a mess that didn’t end up getting cleaned up even after telling staff about it

Expérience incroyable. L'hôtel offre non seulement d'excellentes prestations, mais il se montre également très attentif à vos demandes, dans la mesure du possible. J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'accès aux salles affaires, au salon et au restaurant. Le service de navette aéroport gratuit est un vrai plus et facilite grandement les déplacements. J'ai été très touché par l'accueil, la patience et la disponibilité du personnel de la réception.

Bien que cet hôtel soit situé dans le centre-ville, il est encore un peu loin du véritable centre-ville. Sa porte est très intéressante (voir photo), comme la porte d'un théâtre, et il se trouve que le théâtre Ramada est écrit sur le côté. Le jour de mon arrivée, j'ai regardé autour de moi pendant dix minutes mais je n'ai pas osé franchir cette porte. Ce n’est que lorsque quelqu’un est sorti que j’ai pu voir clairement le hall. Quelques jours plus tard, en rentrant à l'hôtel, j'ai vu des gens hésiter à la porte avec leurs bagages. Ensuite, comme moi, ils attendaient que quelqu'un sorte avant de soudainement se rendre compte de ce qui se passait et d'entrer, ou bien ils suivaient les clients qui s'étaient déjà enregistrés à l'hôtel et entraient en se pavanant... Je me demande si d'autres personnes ayant séjourné dans cet hôtel ressentent la même chose. L'hôtel est situé sur la 8ème rue dans le centre-ville. A environ 200 mètres sur la gauche se trouve la célèbre « Rue piétonne » (voir photo), avec de nombreux restaurants, bars et bâtiments anciens. Marchez vers le nord pendant 10 minutes et vous trouverez un supermarché Safeway sur la 11e rue. Il est très pratique d'acheter des fruits, du pain, des œufs, du lait, etc. Bien que l'hôtel soit trois étoiles, le service est bon. J'ai demandé un micro-ondes et un réfrigérateur qui ont été livrés dans la chambre (voir photo). Cependant, je suis quelque peu insatisfait des installations de l'hôtel. L'insonorisation est mauvaise. Un jour, vers 1 heure du matin, j'ai été réveillé par le bruit des conversations des voisins ou de la télévision. J'aurais voulu le supporter, mais après plus d'une demi-heure, le bruit ne montrait aucun signe d'affaiblissement ou d'arrêt. J'ai dû appeler la réception et le bruit a disparu après 5 à 10 minutes, ce qui prouve une fois de plus que le service de l'hôtel est toujours acceptable. Il y a eu une autre fois où le service client n'a pas pu m'aider. Le matin du 25 juin, je me préparais à prendre une douche et j'avais déjà versé du shampoing dans mes cheveux, mais il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude qui sortait de la pomme de douche. J'ai demandé à la réception et ils m'ont dit qu'ils ne savaient pas ce qui se passait. J'ai redemandé 20 minutes plus tard, et ils m'ont dit que les ingénieurs étaient toujours en train de le réparer... Oh mon Dieu ! J'ai dû rincer mes cheveux à l'eau froide et je me suis dépêché de sortir. Bien que l'hôtel se soit excusé par la suite, pour un si grand hôtel trois étoiles de ne pas avoir d'eau chaude, la réception n'était pas au courant du problème, et il a fallu plus de 20 minutes pour le résoudre, les problèmes d'installation sont vraiment graves !

A good hotel considering the price and location. For a 3 star property, it meets the stated standard. Comfortable beds. Spacious lobby. Everything works.

Hotel is spacious and clean! Come here with my family and we all were impressed with the comfort of the bed including the cleanliness

This motel is not Econo Lodge in & suites university. Which we stayed also, and was much better than this one (econo lodge motel village). The room was small and the bathroom smelled unpleasant. The smell came from the shower curtain, which touches the bath tub water. When taking a shower, the water doesn't drain as fast so your feet end up soaking in that water along with the smelly fabric shower curtain. Also, the bath was weirdly higher than the ground so be very careful when getting in. During our stay, there were several bugs that found their way into our room during the night (Mosquitos, flies). The buzzing sound prevented us to sleep so we had to kill the bugs and go back to sleep each time. We also had problems with our room key, we had them replaced several times and you have to slide the card quite a few times before it unlocks. I think it's loose and you need to get the exact right angle, which is annoying when you have your hands full. I recommend the other econolodge situated behind this one. The staffs here are very friendly. For breakfast, they offered coffee, tea but without lids. There's bread and juice served in a solocup (but u can just use the coffee cup). There were muffins. If you have allergies, I suggest you to bring your own food. The price for this motel vs the other econolodge were the same. We try to avoid staying at the same place for our whole trip in case we don't like our room but we ended regretting not booking the other econolodge for our entire trip.

Bust a vendu la ligne de nuit pour se rendre. Il était la dernière minute de réservation tout bien mouillé. Bien que plus de petit déjeuner inclus. Nous sommes restés ici pour des moments. Rien de fantastique, mais ce que vous obtenez, et c'est mieux que d'autres hôtels et de nombreux parkings raisonnables. Un nouveau type de bureau était gentil!
