I highly recommend everyone to stay here and relax for at least a night or two. The hotel has a genuinely cool atmosphere, and the absolute highlight of our stay was the incredible staff. The service here is simply on another level—they are so attentive, welcoming, and ready to help with a smile!
The Vibe & A Few Quirks 😹
To be completely honest and a bit playful, the property is a little ”tired” and shows some wear and tear. The strong sea breeze has left its mark with some rust here and there. If I were the manager, I’d definitely grab a bucket of fresh paint and give the place a little makeover! Also, every now and then, you might catch a faint, mysterious scent that sits somewhere between ”stale water” and ”did a confident local stray cat just mark its territory here?” 🐈⬛ But honestly, you just laugh it off. It doesn't ruin the vibe and just becomes a funny part of the coastal experience.

The hotel has some really lovely spaces to unwind. There is a cozy library where you can relax, a great kids' area which is super convenient for families, and a nice bar for the evenings. As for the breakfast, the buffet selection isn't huge, but don't let that disappoint you—everything they serve is fresh, high-quality, and genuinely delicious!
Bottom Line: Despite a few minor cosmetic quirks, it’s a wonderful place with a great soul. Embrace the coastal character, enjoy the amazing hospitality, and have a great time!

IInvitéThe staff were extremely friendly and attentive, even before my arrival. They tried to contact me in advance, but as a foreign guest, I do not have a Chinese phone number. It would be more convenient if the hotel could ask for guests’ WeChat IDs through the Trip.com messenger instead. Upon arrival, the staff created a WeChat group and added me in, which turned out to be very helpful. Through the group, they assisted with all kinds of questions, such as recommended places to visit, how to rent an e-bike, and where to eat nearby. The responsiveness and service were excellent.
The room was awesome — very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the view was fantastic. I also really loved the projector screen in the room, which allowed me to watch WeTV shows and other content. It made relaxing in the room even more enjoyable.
The hotel provides e-bike rentals, which is a great feature. However, I was personally under-geared for the weather. It rained the day before, and the entire day was cloudy with temperatures around 11°C. The sea breeze was very strong and cold, especially when riding the e-bike with the wind blowing directly at you. Proper winter gear is definitely needed in such conditions. If the hotel could provide glove and jacket rentals, that would be an amazing improvement.
In the evening, the staff even brought a small gift to the room. The gift was thoughtful and practical, and I really liked it — it was a warm and welcoming gesture that made the stay feel extra special.
Breakfast was okay. Guests are seated on Level 2, and the meal is served to the table. As I come from a place where some Chinese do not consume beef, it would be great if there were options such as chicken or beef. That said, the beef noodles were actually very good. The Western-style breakfast, however, was quite average.

KKittenMacMuffinWe had a very pleasant stay at Pingtan Skyline Original Hotel. The location is excellent—conveniently situated near the coast and easy to access from the main points of interest in Pingtan. It’s a clean, modern hotel with a cozy atmosphere.
The Chinese-style breakfast buffet was quite good, offering a decent variety of fresh local dishes. The staff were always welcoming, friendly, and very helpful—ready to assist with any requests we had.
Our room was clean and comfortable, with a nice modern design. However, we did feel it was missing some practical touches. There weren’t quite enough shelves or storage areas for personal items, and the design of the bathroom door was a bit awkward. To exit the toilet area, you actually have to step into the shower space, which was slightly inconvenient.
That said, everything else about our stay was great, and we would still recommend this hotel for a short, comfortable stay in Pingtan!

PPausini GThe hotel location is good which is right at the cross road junction. 5 min walk away has many many seafood restaurant and we are spoilt for choice.
However, right infront of the hotel entrance are a row of EV charging station and there are many cars parking there to charge. Opposite the hotel is an abundant building which seem like a stop in construction work.
Rooms are clean, there are rooms of same category which are very spacious and there are rooms that are very small. We booked 4 rooms and we are given a few combination of rooms. One of the room is so small that could hardly place 2x28” luggage in the room, we took it because we only stay for 1 night. Hotel lobby is nothing fanciful. I will not come back to the same hotel again. There is no WOW factor during our stay.

IInvitéOutstanding service! Every team member we encountered was cheerful and went out of their way to be helpful. They suggested a dining place and showed us to get there. In the evening I asked if I could get some more candy, and a girl from reception brought me a whole bunch of their signature gummies and cookies! Their energy and eagerness to assist with anything we needed made a huge difference. We had an urgent change in our plan and the hotel staff helped us a lot.
The design is just amazing! Rooms are quiet, clean and artsy. We were enjoying every bit of it, every detail! And the location is nice as well. Everything was perfect!
The staff is a true highlight of the hotel! I wish this hotel prosperity and I hope many more people will enjoy their stays just as we did.

Jj0yj0yThe room was exactly as shown in the photos on Trip, and waking up to a stunning sea view was easily the highlight of both the hotel and my trip.
The room doors were a bit tricky to maneuver—even though the staff kindly went the extra mile to show me how to open and close them, I gave up after the third try. Breakfast was simple, nothing fancy.
A large bug appeared in the room, which gave me quite a scare. Also, this place isn’t ideal if you’re traveling with large suitcases, but the staff are incredibly helpful and always ready to assist with carrying luggage up and down.
Overall, a beautiful view and warm service, with a few quirks to keep in mind.

Le seul défaut est que vous avez un bébé à main sans bébés supérieurs, la position est très appropriée pour vous conduire, la route est bonne et la station est bonne. Le vélo peut être un peu loin. La dernière chose à faire est ce petit-déjeuner, le goût est vraiment super! Le petit pamplemousse est délicieux, la ligne de riz sous ce fichier est plus inexistante, aucun aliment ne doit être ajouté, très délicieux! C'est vraiment super-coût

IInvitéCette maison de vacances dans la zone de la mer, vraiment au-delà des attentes, il faut prendre soin de la mer! À très près de la mer, à 10 minutes de marche, vous pourrez atteindre la mer, avec le vent de la mer particulièrement confortable. La chambre est propre et propre, il n'y a pas de goût inexistant, la décoration a un sens de design très simple et un ton simple, et la photo est spécialement prise. Les produits de lit sont confortables, les produits de bain sont complets, les détails sont très disponibles.
Le plus important est le service, les membres de la famille sont intimes et chaudes tout le temps, les questions sont réalistes et les gens se sentent très tranquilles. Le peuple offre également des fruits et du café gratuits, il est possible de les prendre à tout moment, et le goût est très bon. Le service exclusif est très disponible, il est très facile de séjourner à partir de la salle de départ, le processus est bien pris en charge.
L'atmosphère globale est calme et guéri, le rapport coût-efficacité est super élevé, que ce soit en vacances ou en relaxation, il est bon. La prochaine fois que vous viens ici, vous choisissez ici, vous recommandez vraiment à vos amis qui veulent vivre en mer, vous avez une expérience satisfaisante!

IInvitéThis is absolutely an outstanding hotel in China, the best one out of 6 the past few weeks for me. The staff are very professional, extremely helpful and polite and caring. As an example, they helped me get to a village by the beach on Pingtan Island and then checked on me in the evening to make sure i got back safely! What hotel does that??!! There is a fresh seafood restaurant next to the hotel and all the sea produce are absolutely fresh & in huge aquariums, no fishy smell and very clean. Starbuck is on the other side of the lobby. Amazing hotel, worth every penny!

AAn3000The hotel was beautiful and clean. The location is a little remote but so quiet. This was a great opportunity to get away from the city, and enjoy the island. The room was presented in a beautiful clean manner, we also received a plate of fruit after we had gone to the room.
The only negative point is that there were some events happening at the hotel, which greatly impacted on the hotel restaurant. The food took too long to receive after placing our order; and due to it being the off season they didn't turn on the A/C in the restaurant, even after some guests asked for it to be turned on.
