Hotel Goldener Engl is situated in the centre of Hall in Tirol, a beautiful historical town surrounded by majestic mountains of the Alps in the vicinity of Innsbruck - just 10 minutes ride with S-Bahn. The building of the hotel is a historical castle and is a member of historic hotels of Europe. I was greeted by a very welcoming, friendly, kind, helpful and professional staff. The check-in process was very quick and smooth also thanks to an option to fill in the information online, prior to arrival. I was lucky enough to get the best suite in the hotel which was a beautiful, spacious, attic rustic room equipped with a big relaxing bath tube as well es a sauna directly in the room, separated toilet and a bathroom, comfortable bed and soundproof wall isolation. I was on a business trip and found it very relaxing hearing the raindrops on the attic windows in a pleasantly heated room and having a possibility of using a private sauna after a tiring day. This room is like your energizing oasis relaxing and refreshing your mind, body and soul. After a good sleep in a big and comfortable bed I enjoyed a tasteful tirol breakfast with individual serving and plentiful choice keeping me satiated until the afternoon. The public transport connections are very good, easy and punctual. The hotel has its own very good restaurant but there are good restaurants within a walking distance from the hotel too. The centre of Hall in Tirol is a small historic and picturesque one with winding streets and traditional small handicraft shops. I travelled to Hall in Tirol in the middle of November and my experience was exceptional. I felt like a queen in my unique hotel room and after my three night stay I did not really want to check out. :-) It surely was one of the best and unforgettable hotel stays I experienced until now and I will be very happy to come back again. All good, we enjoyed our stay and had a great time. Quite nice place with Sauna and very nice staff. Hall is a beautiful place to stay for sightseeing and shopping. We also enjoyed great food in augustiners brau restaurant

Impressive hotel with unique a**osphere located in historic premises but with modern comfort and outstanding hospitality. Spacious rooms with wooden floorings and high-end materials such as fine textiles and comfortable wellness showers. Excellent restaurant (Augustiner Keller) serving high quality Austrian dishes and drafts.

The Hotel is remarkable, because of it's Situation right at the heart of the ald town center, because it's solid quality and prices, because of the heavenly breakfast with the world's best fried eggs - all of a "bio" standard. What a pity that the very treasure of this place, two sensational old guest rooms, are reserved for high prize dinners and private bookings. Without this quiet unfair disappointing for me as a "normal" guest I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a high class event. A seasonal problem might be the lack of enough "Angels" to manage the service and the reception.

Very nice hotel, in a good position especially if you want to go and visiit Innsbruck but don't want to stay in the city. The hotel gives you a Treasure card with discounts/free services included (Ask for it, if not offered when you arrive). Various busses take you to various destinations for free with this card. Good size rooms, comfortable beds. The breakfast is excellent!

Posto bellissimo in un paesino delizioso che sembra una fiaba. Il ristorante ottimo. Mi ha infastidito la colazione, sul tavolo trovi già pane e 2 croissant con poca marmellata, il resto lo ordini a parte. Peccato che fosse tutto con la carne che non mangio, ero abbastanza disorientata, non ho trovato nessuna elasticità nella ragazza che ci ha servito al tavolo ma anzi risatine inappropriate.

Der erste Eindruck von außen war „nostalgisch“. Wir hatten die Suite 502 gebucht, und die war der Hammer! Wunderschönes großes Zimmer. Alles picobello sauber, guter Zimmerservice. Tiefgarage ist in der Nähe Abendessen im Freundeskreis auf absolutem Feinschmecker-Niveau. Gute Weine. Alois - das Mädchen für alles! Bis um 2.00 Uhr serviert und morgen zum Frühstück auch wieder da. Immer freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer mit einer launigen Bemerkung dabei! Respekt! War klasse!

Großartige Zimmer mit toller Einrichtung. Leckeres Essen im Augustiner Bräu. Nettes Hotelpersonal und immer saubere Zimmer. Die Suite hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Einfacher Check in und Check out. Die Lage des Hotels könnte nicht besser sein.
