B&B HOTEL Halle (Saale)

The hotel is nicely and centrally located, basic needs are within reach of under 5 min walk. The room, however, is too poorly equipped - no telephone, no slippers, no safebox, etc. The staff's attitude was not so friendly also, I did not feel welcomed and would rather just check myself in with the machine they have near the front door. All in all, it was a nice stay but I still think they could do better even just for the cheapest rooms.

Der Hotel Befindet sich tatsächlich in der Stadtzentrum (Fußgängerzone). Gegenüber mit der Hotel befindet sich ein Riesenrad. Der Tiefgarage ist unterhalb von der Hotel, aber der Einfahrt befindet sich in circa 600 - 800 m Entfernung vom Hotel. Der ParKing ist ganz günstig (8,50 € für 24 Stunden). Die Zimmer sind relativ klein aber sauber. Super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis! Ich war insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

War so in Ordnung

The room was small, but comfortable. Comfy bed, no chairs just stools, very small shower. The location was fantastic, across the street from the cathedral and market area with lots of restaurants and shopping. There was a large grocery store next door. The parking garage was very convenient but did cost extra. Breakfast cost extra so we opted out, but it looked very nice. The best part was the friendly and very helpful receptionist! We would highly recommend this hotel because of the location and wonderful staff.

I stayed at the Halle B&B Hotel for three nights at the end of May, 2023. I was travelling alone on a small break after a work commitment elsewhere in Germany. This hotel is perfectly located for access to the Market Square and the tourist attractions of the old town. The staff were kind and helpful, and most spoke good English. The hotel is modern, very clean, and with simplicity at the core of its design. The room was small but comfortable, and the bathroom clean and functional. It was very quiet at night (my room was away from the front, which I think was a plus), and provided a good base from which to explore the city. The "continental" buffet breakfast was simple but filling (no hot food options) and the fourth floor dining room provided a wonderful view over the city. On the ground floor of the same building is a very large supermarket, providing more options for food and drink, although there are no cooking facilities in the rooms.

Das Positive: man kann vollkommen auf menschlichen Kontakt verzichten. Einchecken geht am Computer, auschecken nicht nötig. Die Lage direkt am Hallmarkt und neben einem Rewe ist unschlagbar. Da hört’s leider auf… Denn das Personal an der Rezeption (in Person eingecheckt) war sehr unfreundlich/unmotiviert. Die Zimmer sollen zwar einen funktionalen bzw. minimalistischen Charakter aufweisen, aber letztlich sind sie einfach billig eingerichtet - einlagiges Toilettenpapier, nicht mal ein Zahnputzbecher, nicht ausreichend Haken für ein Handtuch und selbst wenn hatten die Handtücher keine Lasche zum aufhängen… Steckdose nur an einer Bettseite, Decken zu klein, Duscharmatur kaputt. Einfach leider viele Kleinigkeiten, die das Gesamtbild trügen und so billig ist die Nacht auch nicht, dass ich sage, dass es den Preis wert ist. Für eine Übernachtung geht’s, für mehr hat Halle besseres zu bieten!

Lage und Verkehrsanbindung mit Straßenbahn sehr gut. Schlichte Zimmer ohne Charme. In meinem Fall vor dem Fenster noch mal ein kleiner Innenraum - sprich Ausblick auf eine Wand und entsprechend dunkel im Zimmer. Bad klein, aber ok. Zimmerreinigung immer erst recht spät am Tag. Sauberkeit ok. Frühstück basic. Qualität von Aufschnitt und 2 Sorten geschmacksneutralem Schnittkäse können nicht überzeugen. Täglich exakt die gleichen Mini-Muffins als Kuchenkomponente. Kein Rührei, gekochte Eier sind so extrem lange gekocht, dass sie einen sehr unappetitlichen dicken schwarzen Rand haben. Ich würde im Wiederholungsfall auf das Frühstück (10 €) verzichten und lieber in einer der drei Bäckereien am Hallmarkt frühstücken. Auch Rewe und Edeka sind nur wenige Meter vom Hotel entfernt. Das Hotel hat mich nicht überzeugt, es gibt jedoch ein großes Plus für Spätanreisende: Es ist ein kompletter Online-Check-In möglich, so dass man auch spätabends per Zahlencode ins Hotel und auf sein Zimmer kommt. (Hotels mit nächtlich besetzter Rezeption oder Self-Check-In sind ansonsten in Halle dünn gesät). Auch nach dem Online-Check-In hatte ich keinerlei Kontakt mit Hotelpersonal (bis auf die Angabe der Zimmernr. beim Frühstück), so dass ich die Freundlichkeit des Personals nicht bewerten kann. Für mich wars ein Hotel ohne sichtbares Personal und (abgesehen von der Zimmerreinigung) ohne Service, aber zum günstigen Preis.

Wir waren im Rahmen eines Konzertes für eine Nacht in Halle. Da wir recht kurzfristig gebucht haben, war der Preis für ein Standard-Doppelzimmer mit über 120€ absolut nicht angemessen. Die Zimmer sind okey und das Bad ist recht klein, für einen Kurz-Trip jedoch ausreichend. Das Frühstücksbüffet war a in Ordnung, aber jetzt auch nichts Besonderes. Die Zimmer waren sauber, jedoch war bei unserer einen Wand Spritzer von irgend einem Getränk.
