Hôtels proches de Friends of HMCS Haida, Hamilton

First off, we had booked our hotel months before we visited and had paid in advance on a credit card. One which were in the midst of closing out with our bank btw. Bad us for not realizing that you cannot use a Visa Debit for incidentals. I use my Visa debit everywhere without issue. Even in the US but not acceptable here. And paying cash is not acceptable currency anymore for hotels either. So after doing a lot of running around, that issue was resolved. Funny, they’ll take your money via Visa debit to pay for the room on the site ???? And we weren’t the only ones having an issue with checking in for similar issues. Then the room. Not worth the money we paid. Dull and dingy. Stained carpets, curtains look dirty. Completely weird set up. TV off to the side not in front of the of the bed? Bad part of the city too. Only good thing is that it was close to The First Ontario Centre which was very close as we were going o a concert. If we were ever to go to another concert in Hamilton, I’d drive the 45 mins to Niagara. Much nicer rooms at half the cost.

L'hôtel propose des choses à un prix très élevé qui dépassent les autres garçons. - il y avait un mini-frigo, une station de café et une micro-ondes - douche de pluie - lit de taille roi - contrôle de température travaillé - robes confortables - bon wifi ON PROPERTY - bonne position, à pied de beaucoup - le personnel m'a salu à l'arrivée - il y avait des installations de lavage, je crois - n'a pas utilisé la piscine mais il semblait assez vide la plupart du temps Things I didn't like or think you should be aware of: IN MY Room: - it by a highway so there's road noise, Si vous êtes un léger sommeil, je ne vous recommanderais pas (j'ai dormi bien mais j'ai grandi dans une maison pleine de bruit) - la douche de pluie m'a pris longtemps pour me rendre compte. - Ils N'ont pas de ports USB dans la chambre (de nombreux hôtels semblent avoir au moins un port USB construit dans une lampe ou un verrou ou un connecteur pour charger vos appareils) J'ai dû emprunter un bloc du bureau frontal. En général, je ne packai pas mon bloc parce qu'ils sont souvent trouvés dans les chambres d'hôtel - les télévisions sont intelligentes mais elles ne sont pas toutes nommées, donc la plupart des télévisions de l'hôtel apparaissent. si vous voulez passer de votre appareil à la télévision. Vous pouvez utiliser les applications et juste connecter à la télévision. - un bar baisse dans la cuisine serait agréable.

Amazing place to stay...always! Staff is friendly and helpful. All areas, especially rooms, are immaculate and very well-maintained. Excellent rates and location. Rooms are incredibly spacious. Only place we stay in Hamilton-about once a month for the last few years. Easy to get early check-in and welcomed upon our arrival. Bed and pillows are so comfortable. Hot breakfast included-good variety of food and drinks. Most definitely best place in town!! Highly recommend this hotel! Carmela P.

Hotel is in a good location. Staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were nice and beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The on-site restaurant was mediocre at best. Our family members staying at the same time experienced cold soup that had to be rewarmed, cold oatmeal that had to be rewarmed on two separate days, and an average breakfast for an above average price. The bar, which was part of the restaurant, was poorly stocked which the server blamed on the fact that they had never expanded their offerings back to pre-pandemic levels. So I would recommend the hotel for sure as long as you don't plan to eat on site as there are definitely better options nearby.

La position est très bonne, le transport est pratique, il est approprié de partir vers le centre de Toronto et le Grand Canyon, à 45 minutes de route de l'aéroport de Toronto. L'hôtel est situé à l'extérieur du Grand Lac, recommandé! Le glace sur le bord n'est pas recommandé, trop épais.

L'hôtel est propre et moderne, ils ont fait un excellent travail avec des précautions de nettoyage et de désinfection. La température de la chambre était un peu difficile à contrôler, et le parking était un peu difficile à naviguer.

The hotel was very nicely decorated and clean. Loved that they had room service even though we didn't have time to use it. Lots of outlets for charging devices. Only complaint is the shower taps. Very difficult to use and took forever for warm water. Maybe it was just our room.
