A really lovely hotel in a stunning location. Lovely decor, superb customer service, and very comfy bed. Rooms are small but adequate. Was great to have a bathtub too! Highly recommend this hotel.

We are a couple spending 10 days in North Vietnam.
Room type: St Joseph's Double Room
What a lovely hotel.
⭐It's very clean and well appointed. I'd hazard a guess its new or completely refitted. The windows were a good size, looking down on the street and curtains kept all the light out.
⭐It's quiet! Double glazing and good walls meant even though it was new year AND we were next to St Joseph's church, we slept soundly.
⭐Service was excellent. No fuss, helpful and not pushy at all. Again, it was new year and they should've been home partying, but all services as normal, well done and thank you.
⭐Bathroom was clean, didnt smell, had a bath and water was scalding hot with good pressure.
⭐Breakfast was buffet with eggs, pancakes and pho to order. Fresh yoghurt and squeezed juices.
⭐We didn't try the onsite Indian restaurant but will when we return.
⭐Location was excellent. Everything is close by. Cafes and Conveniences next door, the church square to the left and the small lake to the right. 10 min walk from Prison museum, 20 mins to West Lake. Honestly preferable to anything near beer street, whether you're a party goer or family.
Pity we forgot to take pictures but this is the church next door. Will post on the next review.

Fantastic location for just about anything in the old town. Everything seemed to be in walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly, if I'm in Hanoi again, I'd consider it.

Location and service was perfect! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here when I'm back in Hanoi. It is probably the most affordable hotel in Hanoi without sacrificing on the quality. It's very close to the big church, Hoan Kiem Lake and literally across the street from one of the only Starbucks in Vietnam. I will definitely stay here again!

We are from Philippines, and we stayed at Minerva Church Hotel for 3 days and 2 nights from September 17 - 19, 2023.
Ms. Lisa - the front desk, welcomed us warmly with a smile. She also showed us the different restaurants within the area. Plus,the staff at Minerva Church Hotel are all welcoming and approachable. They are also good at accommodating our requests.
The location of the hotel is very convenient for us, because it is walking distance to St. Joseph Cathedral and there are cafe nearby.
The room that we had is cozy and well-cleaned. They clean the room every day, and they refill the toiletries and the free two water bottle.
We will definitely stay here again if we go back to Hanoi.

Hotel is close to the Cathedral, room is small but clean & cozy. The staff are courteous, attentive & super helful particularly Andy who had prepared me with a take-away bfast when I had to leave early to Sapa.
