A beautiful manor with a great view, however, it is very poorly maintained. The pool was not totally clean and blue and the hot tub that is shown in the pictures no longer exists which was disappointing. No back-up power during power outages so the heated pool doesnt get a chance to properly heat. High potential, especially with the old fashioned manor furniture and antiques but maintenance issue lets it down.

From the moment I walked in everything was 5 Star. friendly staff, a beautiful room and a stunning view. I wanted ice and it was brought to my room. The next morning I had a 5 Star breakfast. This was the best experience I have had in a long time.

Place in a secure estate. Acess control. Safe parking. Close to the dam sunrise and mountainous view. Loadshedding lights on critical areas and lamp in each room. Upgraded rooms, facility with an infinity pools facing the dam. Friendly staff.

I enjoyed being here, my kids & husband were happy with the place. However the place needs a little work especially the dinning & living room. The furniture is old , the antique look is great but the sits & couches are totally old. The material is warn off & it not comfortable. They look dirty. That’s a place people have meals at & a welcome area. Please work on it

there were a few insects on the bathroom floor. Apart from that, everything was perfect. The breakfast was delicious, pity I didn't have the opportunity to taste their main food/ dish. It's a place worth visiting again.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kosmos Manor. The scenic location and breathing views was a perfect choice. However, the following made our stay a rather uncomfortable and disappointing one. 1. We experienced an ant infestation. The ants in their masses were all over the place, especially in the bathroom where they climbed onto the towels and clothes, sink etc, which had to be dusted out vigorously before use, and still some crawled onto our bodies. The dead ants were not cleaned out properly as well as they continued even after spraying the area. 2. The toilet seat is positioned so ridiculously high, not the normal height which created much difficulty to use. 3. The bath towels placed on the bath racks had holes, it was in such poor condition. While using them I could hear them tearing. I requested decent towels. 4. The taps are so tight with a struggle to open, and then when opened, the water sprays out fast and wets everything and your clothes. One had to learn a technique as to how to open these taps. 4. There were no basic utensils for a self catering unit, eg coffee plunger or colander. 5. I had to request for everything as it was not seen to prior by the staff. Such as have coffee satchets refilled, (as I could not use my own due to no plunger), usable towels, cleaning of the braai stand that was dirty when we needed to use it, water bottle to be refilled. 6. You cant drink the tap water. There is no sign to say this. We had to ask as we wondered why there is a water bottle in the kitchen. That is when the staff said you cant drink. PS: Although I had to request stuff, the staff provided these quickly and efficiently. They were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Booking at Kosmos Manor , was certainly the best decision to our special weekend that included our Anniversary and Birthday Celebrations. Ilze(Manager) was an absolute brilliant host! Her warm welcome and efforts in making our stay a pleasant one exceeded our expectations. We missed the Guest House immediately after driving off. The Staff, Mbo, was such a delight. I will definitely recommend Kosmos Manor. We were in the presidential suite and we LOVED it

We had a nice time at Kosmos manor Guest house, from the time of arrival the workers were very friendly and assisting with everything. I recommended my aunt to stay there as she will celebrate her daughters birthday and my colleagues too. the service was on top, rooms were clean.
