Premier Inn Hayle

Clean, comfortable room and friendly receptionists. Pub next door was fine foe a meal and drink at reasonable prices. Free parking was an added bonus. One downside was that there's no air con. We stayed on a very hot night and the efficient fan in the room helped, but it was still very sticky!

AVOID The Premier Inn at Hayle. Room 23 smells stale. The bathroom is in urgent need of, at best, a thorough cleaning & preferably complete renovation. The paintwork is old and flaking, the bath taps are old & rusty & have stained the bath. And the soap dispenser is rusty & filthy - bring your own soap. See photos.

first time ever had a bad stay at a premier inn! we booked this has it advertised a play ground for our three year old! it was closed! and had been or days. there was building work going on for a new power cable. room was ok first glance but the more you looked the grumpier it got! the window had bird poo all across it and had not been cleaned in months/maybe even years. mould in corner of room. we had booked two nights but asked if we could leave after one and get refund, told NO! then told power cut in morning as they put new cable in so we would miss the pre paid breakfast asked for refund again told cant do it and the icing on the cake we went out for 6 hours to the beach as we left we asked the manager himself to refresh our room and returned and nothing had been done! even make up room tab was still on door. passed to four plus people on their helpline. not happy at all.

Bathroom water pressure was very very poor. Nearly 5 mins to fill wash basin. Extractor fan in bathroom almost non existent, bathroom mirror was totally misted up after shower. Nowhere near as good as previous experiences at Premier Inn. Pricing also difficult to follow, 4 nights stay all at different rates, why ?

We have stayed at this hotel many times before and had a good nights sleep, although on this occasion we were situated above reception and there was a banging noise from below us all night. Sounded like a door left to open and slam shut every 10 mins or so. Worst nights sleep we’ve ever had. Also, the shower was no use as the pressure was hardly enough to get wet, and there were some old American cars outside our room revving and driving around outside from 7am. Won’t be staying here again which is a shame as the location is perfect. Mentioned our disappointment to staff on checkout.

First of all. I booked my stay at the premiere inn next door to the brewers fair Hayle Cornwall. . I’ve stayed in premier inns before. Which have everything at your convenience including the restaurant which is all in the same place. On this occasion at the hotel they have no restaurant so at reception I asked do they have a restaurant. I was told The brewers fair is next door. They have the same menu as the premier inns so I presume they are combined. A lot of the staff at the brewers fair seem quite vacant. It’s like talking to a robot. No smiles. Ignorant as in when you are talking to them they start talking to another member of staff.this goes especially to a middle aged women who was behind the bar where the orders for food are taken. 01/06/2025. This is not good enough as this can reflect on the premier inn name. The brewers fair is open to the general public who are not staying at the premier inn so the service is going to suffer. More so if you have had exceptional service at premier inns where everything is in one place then going to a pub next door then the service is going to suffer. Let’s face it. If you pay £120 a night for a room. You don’t want to be palmed off to a pub next door because that is what it is. If you want proper service with a smile and staff not being ignorant then avoid this place and this particular premier inn in Hayle as well. Mr shelton.
