Check in was quick, but information provided was inadequate, especially when there was no management staff on duty for the 3 day Christmas weekend.. Access to upper appartments is via a steep bending hill, which is unlighted, and I consider it dangerous especially at hight or inclement weather. Appartment looked aged, grease on kitchen cabinets, smelly freezer, mould in bathroom tub. The heating system was excellent however & the appartment was cosy. Access to town via a muddy path saved a mile long hike on the roadways.

Great stay overall. Vacuuming under the bed and dusting here and there before guests arrive will help bump rating to Excellent. Frying pan needs to be replaced. Debris and dirt in parking area and under the stairs need to be cleared out. Large indoor and heated swimming pool saved the day. It’s like visiting Santa’s cabin in the woods. View is beautiful. 😍

This place is quaint and reasonably clean with a nice view. It’s horribly dated, however. The lodges are in moderate disrepair. Not to mention, I found 2-3 dead roaches on the floor upon arrival. I had to kill a live roach that was on the kitchen counter. Thankfully, the beds and bathrooms were clean and didn’t appear to have any bugs. It’s not a terrible place to stay if you’re on a budget and aren’t afraid of a few roaches.

Very disappointed in the overall appearance and maintenance of the facility. The outdoor deck was not stable and we could not sit outdoors to enjoy the view. There were no amenities. However, we were there for the Helen Octoberfest. This was a great event and the resort location was ideal for walking to restaurants. If this is the only place you can get in October, it would be worth the sacrifice.

The condo itself was very clean, and all the staff was very friendly. With that being said, we felt like that we had gone back in time. This place has not been updated in a very, very long time. The dishwasher was broken, The stove worked, but not well. Ther furniture needed updating and there was virtually no wifi. Will not stay there again

As communicated after being transferred to another unit the stay was fine. Previous unit was a DISASTER...The Association should take time to update the pool, clubhouse and slide in addition to closing each building down to upgrade. The location is wonderful and I can see at one time this was an excellent resort.

The resort is very old. The accommodation had very worn furniture and dirty carpeting. The blanket for the primary bedroom had at least 2 cigarette burn holes. The road up to the villa was very narrow and on a big incline. The pool and clubhouse were closed.

thought we were in Motel 6 usually RCI properties we stayed in are very good to excellent. We have been members of RCI for a long time and stayed in properties in USA and overseas This condo needs updating and thorough cleaning

The place could use some upgrades. Outdated and old. Great for a big family. Lots of great places to visit locally. Good food and entertainment. River Rafting is fun for the whole family. Big Daddy’s are where the locals hang.
