Familienresort & Kinderhotel Ramsi

We booked Ramsi las**inute as I couldn't ski this year so we wanted something different from our usual ski holiday. It was UK and Austrian half-term and the lifts/slopes were busy. But we all had a great time. Gorgeous pool and adult only sauna area, loads for the kids to do after skiing (animals, sledging, sports hall, climbing wall). And a huge suite with a living area, biggest space we've had skiing! The food was also a highlight, mixture of buffet an excellent a la carte dinners which were very flexible for the kids. Staff all lovely too. There were a lot of Brits there and the hotel could have done with more signs etc in English but they might not have expected so many of us!

We visited this hotel for families with children for the third time. It is a safe bet, we have repeatedly encountered above-standard service. Accommodation, catering with many options. and the possibilities of relaxation will excite you. We will be happy to come again.

We stayed in October so the weather wasn't great but still had the best time. The food was really nice. Great ingredients, beautifully presented and well cooked.( I'm a chef that's hard to please so for me to say it's good then it's awesome). The staff are super friendly, well organised and on the ball. There are sooooo many things for the kids to do outside and In. They offer kids clubs but we didn't use them as there was lots to do anyway. Rooms are really nice, couldn't fault them, with balcony's overlooking mountains with stunning views. Good food, clean rooms and nice people. The facilities for the children are also very good. I would recommend this hotel for young families. The food varied every night and was good, drinks during dinner are included

One of the best place to stay with kids. Very nice facilities, extremely good and proffesional service. Wide food selection. We chose this place for the second time and we will certainly come back again.

We spent winter holiday in Ramsi, with two kids, 8 years old. The kids had so much fun, because there are a lot of other kids and activities. The hotel has arrangement with Thommy ski school and the shuttle is organized every day, so if you ski or you do not ski, it does not matter, kids are taken care. The hotel also offers light lunch, if you get back to the hotel after morning skiing (we did not ski every day), however the lunch finishes at 14.00, so this might be only thing I would recommend chaining. If kids finish ski school at 13, and get the shuttle, they arrive at 13.30 and then there is not enough time. The service is good, we enjoyed talking to Nina for example, she was very helpful. Spa is amazing, very calm and clean. The ski area starts at Tropolach, with a gondola, going into Nassfeld ski area. Week ski pas you can buy at the reception, however, for the day ski pass, one need to go to the seling point in Milenium Express gondola station in Tropolach (and there is always a line). Sometimes, we took our car, there is free parking space i Tropolach, and also one can rent a depo for ski equipment, which is convenient. We would go back to Ramsi, winter or summer time. I suppose there are lot of hiking trails around.

The location is very good, inside the nature. Clean, nice food, friendly staff, very good children program, Ramsi welcome morning was very interesting for children. You get to know and speak to people.

Wir hätten dem Hotel 5 Sterne gegeben, aber die Gästekommunikation und das Beschwerde-Handling haben uns leider sehr enttäuscht. Vorab: Ich arbeite selbst seit über 20 Jahren in der Hotellerie und habe Verständnis für Reservierungsänderungen und Bauverzögerungen etc. - Wir hatte eines der Tiny Häuser gebucht und wurde beim Check In darauf hingewiesen, dass wir ein kostenfreies Upgrade auf ein Hotelzimmer bekommen hatten. So far so good, das "Willi Wurm" Zimmer war in Ordnung, 7m² größer aber es fehlten die Tiny Haus Vorzüge (alleinstehend = ruhiger, Kochzeile, ebenerdige Terrasse). Auf die Frage, warum wir das gebuchte Tiny Haus nicht beziehen können, sagte man uns, dass "der Weg dorthin zu schlammig sei" und die Vorzüge des Hotelzimmers wurden aufgezählt. Am nächsten Tag spazierten wir zum Tiny Haus, der Schotter(!) Weg war nicht schlammig, eines der Tiny Häuser war belegt, eines offensichtlich nicht, die anderen nicht vorhanden. Die Aussage der Rezeptionistin war daher gelinde gesagt "nicht wahr", wir sprachen das Thema noch zweimal an, einmal bei einer anderen Rezeptionistin, dann noch bei der Abreise - offenbar - beim Besitzer. Wir hörten kein einziges Mal ein "Entschuldigung" geschweige denn ein Wort von einer Kompensation, obwohl wir deutlich machten, dass wir uns angelogen fühlten und nicht zufrieden waren. Im Gespräch mit dem Besitzer (?) kam heraus, dass es Liefer-/Bauverzögerungen bei den Tiny Häusern gab, kann sein, war aber nicht das Thema - wir hätten gleich informiert werden wollen, was Sache ist und dass auf unsere Beschwerde reagiert wird. Der Hotelexperte wird jetzt anführen, dass wir ja einen "gleich/höherwertigen" Ersatz mit dem lt. Homepage 1,00 Euro teureren Zimmer (pro Person & Nacht) erhalten hatten, aber den Wert der Unterkunft bestimmen wir und der Wert lag in den oben genannten Vorzügen des Tiny Hauses - daher hatten wir ja das gebucht und nicht das Hotelzimmer. Kleinigkeiten, wie dass die Hotelsauna nur im Zeitraum von 14.00 bis 18.30 (!) PLUS auf Anfrage verfügbar ist, fielen dann natürlich mehr ins Gewicht. Das Personal war grundsätzlich sehr freundlich, besonders die Kollegen im Restaurant, das Essen war ausgezeichnet und hochwertig, die Spielanlagen innen und außen, das Bad sowie die Kinderaktivitäten waren top.

Das Ramsi Hotel schafft es, seine Gäste zu begeistern, so dass sie gerne wiederkommen. Grundlage dafür ist eine Vielzahl von Faktoren wie die schöne Lage, eine hervorragende Gastronomie, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter, Exkursionen und Aktivitäten. Weiter so. Bis bald.
