Sehr nettes Personal. Frühstücksbuffet ausreichend, vielseitig und lecker. Bar selbst spät abends noch super Service und Knabbereien möglich. Zimmer war sauber, freundlich eingerichtet und groß. Rundum sehr zu empfehlen!

By the worst hotel experience I have had in a long time. We checked in on 21st having driven from the UK with 5 children to attend a funeral. The overnight receptionist was extremely unhelpful. Refused to assist with any of the check in process, until the system failed 4/5 times and he had not choice in order to remove the crying babies from the reception area. The bedding has a wet/damp smell. We then left again the next day and were not advised of the parking process or the need to reserve parking. When attempting to gain access to drop the children off, we were met with resistence again by the same overnight receptionist who laughed in our faces as he saw us struggle with the kids. I would go as far as saying he has a problem with people of ethnic minority - if your skin colour is not Caucasian - don’t book this hotel. To their credit, the day time staff were helpful, but not enough to make this anywhere near a pleasant experience. Avoid - there are other hotels who know how to treat families and children with care.

I stayed here for 4 nights as part of a business trip. The check in process was smooth and the team were very welcoming. There were some gingerbread biscuits on offer throughout the day which was a nice treat. I had a room on the 2nd floor close to the fitness centre. The room was clean, modern and functional. The bathroom was spacious with a hair dryer and a plug for shavers / electric toothbrushes. The room was a bit cold and AC / Heating unit didn’t see to work as expected. I The downside was the shower with a half glass partition and a relatively flat floor, This meant that when showering, the water would run off into the bathroom. I had to use the towels provided to clean up after every shower. Breakfast was pleasant with a selection of warm and cold options, various bread and spread options. Juice, water and coffee was readily available. The staff in the restaurant were very good. There is a conference and business centre here located on the first floor. The hotel also offers parking onsite.

Check in, der sehr gut läuft, findet an Tablets im Foyer statt. Ein Mitarbeiter ist auf jeden Fall vor Ort falls es Fragen oder ggf. Probleme gibt. Das gebuchte Zimmer war in der Kategorie Superior auf der Rückseite des Gebäudes. Die Lage dort sehr ruhig. Vor dem Hotel befinden sich die Haltestellen für die Straßenbahnen und den Bus in Richtung Stadt und auch stadtauswärts. Die Anbindung ist sehr gut. Das Zimmer war in einem sauberen und gepflegten Zustand sehr geräumig. Das Bad auch sehr geräumig. Stabiles und schnelles Wifi. Insgesamt war es ein angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Wer die immer wieder interessanten Aufführungen der Ruhrtriennale besucht, kommt gar nicht umhin, dieses Hotel zu buchen. Es ist so gut wie konkurrenzlos. Was es entsprechend teuer macht, seine Qualität jedoch nicht mindert. Es erfüllt so gut wie alle Erwartungen im Hinblick auf einen gehobenen Standard. Gherardino

Im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Hotels ist dieses etwas teurer. Das Zimmer ist sauber, alles vorhanden, Matratze passend. Allerdings 16 EUR für einen Kühlschrank und eine Kaffeemaschine ist heftig. Das Frühstück ist als Buffet in Ordnung. Das Hotel war ausgebucht und man wird gefragt, wann man frühstücken kann. An der Bar... gab es versehentlich ein angefangenen Flaschenbier, das wir reklamiert (wie gibt's das?). Hugo - muss man erst mal umrühren. Viele Gin Varianten.
