Wow what can I say we went to The Highworth for their May Day celebrations, we had Tapas which were absolutely amazing, they had a female vocalist and a guy on a guitar, who were great, the a**osphere was lovely with families with their little ones along with some very well behaved dogs. They were extremely busy, however, the staff were amazing. They have a jazz festival coming up soon and I would highly recommend you take a visit.

Our family enjoyed a delicious Sunday lunch to celebrate my mother-in-law’s 80th birthday. The food was excellent; we ordered a variety of the dishes from the Sunday lunch menu and it was all served hot, in good time and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Spent a night at the hotel for a family birthday party. The room was lovely and comfy. The food and a**osphere were perfect and the staff are so helpful and friendly. They were very busy that night with 200 people to cater for but you wouldn't have known, as far as we were concerned we were the only customers there. Oh, and the breakfast was spot on, even had Worcester sauce for me.

I booked a buffet meal for 36 following my Mother’s funeral. The tea and coffee was waiting for us when we arrived. The freshly prepared buffet quickly followed. The staff were attentive but not overbearing. The guests with allergies were given delicious individual meals. We had our own room and garden but could also use all areas. The price was less than I was expecting. We were aged from 2-92. A perfect meal in every way. Thank you

attended for a baby shower today, it was great. AMAZING food, and tailored to my WGF needs with so much choice of foods! lovely private room with very attentive staff.would recommend for a family gathering, or meal with friends

Another fab dinner. Great choice of food, including fresh fish options and vegan. All delicious! Delightful service, as usual, made for another lovely evening, in walking distance for us locals. We'll be back!

Went for afternoon tea. We couldn’t fault the food or the service. Scones were freshly bake on the premises and all the food was delicious. The two people that served us were lovely, would highLy recommend this hotel.

What a lovely hotel we had a good time will be staying here again. Run by very friendly staff. The place was all up together and the food and drink were top class very good vfm!! Can’t fault anything about our stay😊✅✅

If you are looking to stay at the Highworth hotel the first thing I will say is it looks nothing like the pictures from the outside secondly don't use the postcode as you will end up driving down an extremely narrow lane and ending up in an allo**ent. The hotel itself is ok, we stayed in the room at the very top. It was extremely hot and even with the fan on and window open it was uncomfortably warm. The room was fine but on closer inspection full of cobwebs and most of the bulbs in the bathroom weren't working. When we went for breakfast service was slow as only one person was working and having to deal with everything. Scrambled eggs were undercooked, bacon was chewy and sausages looked anemic and unappetising. The toilets downstairs were in a terrible state which is very off putting. On a plus note the staff were friendly but would I return......no I wouldn't
