I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to others. The location is quite convenient, situated right next to a well-known bakery, which made it easy to grab fresh bread and snacks anytime. There’s also a nice burger place just across the street, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal. The surrounding area is lively enough without being too noisy, so it’s a good balance for travelers who want both comfort and accessibility. The hotel itself was comfortable and provided everything I needed for a short stay. While it may not be overly luxurious, it offers good value for convenience.

If I could give more than 5 stars to XiuXi Anping, I absolutely would. From the moment I arrived, everything felt intentional and thoughtfully curated. The location in Anping is perfect—tucked away just enough to feel peaceful, yet still incredibly convenient for exploring the old streets, historical spots, and local food scene. It struck that rare balance between tranquility and accessibility. The space itself is stunning. Every detail—from the minimalist design to the warm lighting and carefully chosen decor—creates an atmosphere that feels both modern and deeply comforting. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel at ease. Cleanliness was impeccable, and you can tell the hosts take real pride in maintaining such a high standard. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the hospitality. The hosts were exceptionally responsive, kind, and genuinely invested in making sure the stay was perfect. They didn’t just provide a place to stay—they created an experience. Thoughtful touches throughout the space made it feel personal rather than transactional. Waking up there was a highlight in itself. The calm ambiance, soft natural light, and quiet surroundings made it the perfect reset from a busy travel schedule. It felt less like accommodation and more like a carefully designed retreat. Honestly, XiuXi Anping set a new standard for what I look for when traveling. If you’re heading to Tainan and want somewhere that combines aesthetic, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality, this is it. I would return in a heartbeat.

We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel. The staff were very kind, and the private underground parking was a plus. We loved the free evening snacks, ice cream, and drink at the bar — a nice touch if you don’t want to stay in your room. Breakfast had plenty of options, and everything was well organized despite the crowds. The relaxed vibe and late check-out made it even better. Highly recommend for a stay in Tainan — would definitely book again!

The location is in the middle of Tainan West central area, which walkable or cycle to many attractions. The hotel room is spacious and it was unexpected that the toilet bowl was fully automated from cleaning to flushing. They provide washing machine and dry machine, which convenient for travellers to find dobi outside. You can put your luggage here temporarily for free if you are travelling around this area for a whole day.

The location of this hotel is perfect. All the major cultural sites and shopping malls are within walking distance. I highly recommend the guests to buy the locally brewed Tainan beers (in bottles) from the reception. It is going to be an unforgettable experience. These local Tainan beers have a wide range of tastes, and the texture of each one is bolder and better than the conventional Taiwan beer and the imported ones. The hotel also has a neat and cozy common area on the 8/F., and it is comfortable to relax there. I wish the hotel had its own restaurant, but one can always find cafes for breakfast nearby.

Had a pleasant time in this hotel. Provided snacks and drinks daily. The male staff that was at the reception at night was very helpful in helping us call local shops and finding things. The breakfast was also delicious! Would return next time!

The mud hot spring in the hotel room is diluted, perhaps it is a pump flaw / weakness as I was assigned a room at Level 5. It is a pity there is not much mineral mud content compared to neighbouring hotels. Breakfast consists of simple countryside dishes.

The hotel is very cute with full facilities such as a lounge which includes free snacks, water refill, and TV. There was a laundry facility, but it was not working when I was there. The room was a little musty, I think it’s the ventilation, but as long as you keep the AC on, it is fine. Although the price of this hotel is quite good, the location is a little awkward. It is far enough from the station to consider it a long walk but close enough that a taxi feels redundant. The closest 7 Eleven is 6 minutes away. However, the staff are kind and helpful.

J'ai passé une nuit dans cet hôtel lors d'un voyage en solo à Taïwan. J'avais réservé une chambre sans fenêtre, je ne peux donc pas me prononcer sur son emplacement. Arrivée à la gare de Tainan le matin, mes bagages ont été pris en charge à l'avance. Tout s'est très bien passé. Après mon enregistrement, un membre du personnel m'a gentiment accompagnée jusqu'à ma chambre. Spacieuse et simple, elle était dépourvue d'objets superflus. Début janvier, il n'y avait pas de chauffage et il faisait un peu froid, mais j'avais emporté des vêtements chauds et des chaussettes, ce qui n'a pas posé de problème. Si vous voyagez en hiver, il est conseillé de prévoir en conséquence ! La porte de la douche ne couvre que la moitié de la salle de bain ; si vous prenez une douche rapide, les toilettes seront mouillées, mais si vous leur tournez le dos, ce n'est pas gênant. Les chaussons fournis dans la chambre ressemblaient à des tongs ; je recommande donc d'apporter des chaussons jetables si cela vous dérange. Deux bouteilles d'eau minérale étaient à disposition. Le sèche-cheveux était un petit modèle mural, donc le séchage pourrait être long pour les personnes aux cheveux longs… On entend très bien les voix et les bruits de la chambre voisine. Il n'y a pas d'articles de toilette, seulement des serviettes. Du savon et du shampoing sont fournis. Je vous recommande d'apporter les vôtres ! Ce que j'ai apprécié : 1. La proximité de la gare de Tainan ! Juste en face de la gare. 2. Deux stations YouBike (vélos en libre-service) à proximité, très pratique ! Il y a aussi une supérette (FamilyMart) et une pharmacie Cosmed à proximité. Le supermarché est un peu loin, il vaut donc mieux y faire un tour pendant vos visites. Les restaurants populaires sont à 10 minutes en vélo, donc vous pouvez probablement y aller à pied aussi. Pour une personne, le lit double était spacieux et confortable !
