Enjoyed our stay here, had a lovely meal in the evening and breakfast was good too. Room was warm and comfortable. Foothpath from the hotel down to the canal towpath meant we could easily walk into Marsden and to Slaithwaite. Bet the beer garden here is lovely in the Summer (it was a wet February day when we were there!)

We were attending an event nearby, and dropped on this place at the last minute. The staff were super friendly and the room was very good, it comes with breakfast and that was also very good, a most enjoyable stay. The whole team were very accommodating. We didn't go for the restaurant and at this time of year it isn't open Monday through Wednesday anyway, so cannot comment on that but we did note the many positive reviews on that before we stayed, and if the breakfast is anything to go by the restaurant will be good too!

We stayed at the Olive Branch twice in the last month while visiting family. Cannot fault the accommodation, the friendly and welcoming staff and great food. Highly recommend it as a great place to stay.

Our first time here today, absolutely fabulous place, beautiful location, great views, a very warm friendly greeting , and a Gorgeous Room The most amazing meal in the evening. The fillet steak and sticky toffee pudding was the best I ever had! The whole team were lovely from our greeting to us leaving, especially the lovely young female staff who served us in the evening, they were so confident efficient and so nice they made our night, highly recommend

Stayed one night after a hard day's walking, and from being greeted by the convivial smile of the host through to a delicious meal we had a wonderful, happy stay! Breakfast was perfect the next morning - with a rare example of the perfect grilled tomato! Thank you so much!

A really lovely place to stay. This is my second stay at the Olive Branch and I would definitely stay again if I'm in the area. The room I was in was very comfortable and a very good size. The room was very clean. The staff were very friendl;y and very keen to assisst if needed. One of the main benefits for me in staying at a small boutique hotel is the breakfast is freshly cooked and it was very enjoyable. Thank you

We stayed for one night, dinner bed and breakfast. The food was excellent, well recommended. The sun evening made a visit so we were able to sit outside on the lovely balcony area and enjoy a drink looking over the hills. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Nespresso machine was available to use with coffee pods from the local roaster -Dark Wood. We love our coffee so that was great. All the staff were incredibly friendly. We would definitely recommend a visit here either for the restaurant or for an overnight stay.

A nice little hotel just outside Huddersfield. Clean, comfortable & pleasant with nice food & very friendly staff. I’d definitely use them again if we go to another concert in Huddersfield. The bus stops right outside the hotel so there’s easy access if you don’t want to pay for a taxi.

We came for the vegan menu (obv) and the location. We will be returning for these reasons plus the wonderfully friendly and professional team, the extremely comfortable and beautifully decorated room and the amazing food. We were looked after so well. Thank you so much.
