Playa Bella Apartments

Great 5 night stay at Playa Bella. The staff were very friendly. My children really enjoyed the kids activities. A big shout out to the animation staff, Veronica and Blanca for making my children's holiday feel very special. Pool was good with splash area great for kids. Food at the bar was okay but staff and night time entertainment was excellent. Beach right in front of hotel with pedaloos. It is a bit rocky but plenty of other beaches within walking distance. Some good restaurants close to hotel such as Johnny's which are reasonable. Boat taxi right beside hotel which brings you over to San Antonio. Overall, a great base for a family holiday and we will definitely stay again.

Playa Bella is the most amazing resort on the beach in San Antonio Bay. Always greeted with the most professional and very friendly Team Members in reception. Rooms are beautiful furnished with super clean, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The linen is pristine white, soft furnishings are very tasteful. Kitchen area very modern with all you may need on a SC holiday. Bathrooms are awesome. Both restaurants serve very tasty food by the most amazing Team Members. Entertainment was varied and extremely good. Children have their own section of entertainment which is supervised by dedicated staff. Noticed quite a few changes throughout the resort which was beautifully done. Planning and design such a bonus. Near bus stop, taxi rank and water taxi. Just add sunshine 🌞.

We arrived on 6th June to Ibiza as a girls get away 9 of us all together. One apartment of 3 one apartment of 6. The apartments are amazing for a girls' getaway living area, kitchen 3 big spaces, bedrooms, one with an en suite and a bathroom, and amazing views of the sea. Not far to walk to anything. We did o beach, which was 15 euro in taxi, but could walk mambo bout 13 euro in taxi yet again could walk. The food in the restaurant is amazing. It is very English toasties jackets, full English cheap as well pool area, and it is lovely for a chill also. We really did have the best time and would really highly recommend this for a girls' trip away. I would love to return.

Overall a lovely hotel, with a fantastic view! The kids splash park was great for all ages (we travelled with a two year old) there was two other pools, one 0.4 deep - perfect for toddlers but freezing cold. One went up to 2ft deep and seemed to be slightly heated. The room was reasonable with everything provided in the kitchen for self catering, our beds were comfortable and air con was available in the bedroom and living area. We had a view straight over the pool and beach and that was incredible. We asked for a high chair and cot in the room and both were provided very quickly. The staff were very helpful and at both restaurants were really friendly! The food was really good too!! Would recommend the nasi goreng! Incredible!! The only negatives we found were that the room was only cleaned once in a week stay, and although a broom had been provided, there was nothing else. The room could also benefit from better storage, for example some shelves in the bathroom (only a thin shelf above the toilet was there) we were a family of three with a lot of toiletries and nowhere really to put them. The side around the sink got wet very quickly and I was forever wiping it up so couldn’t store things there. Additionally, no storage in bedroom, all in living area. So if you don’t mind having your pants out while cooking your breakfast then it works. Maybe a sliding door over the storage area could work better? There was also no plug sockets near mirrors bar the bathroom which meant straightening hair and drying it was a slight challenge. Finally, the curtains are super thin and the sun is up early, meaning our toddler was too! Next time I’ll invest in some travel black out blinds but this is the first holiday we’ve been on where curtains aren’t blacked out abroad. The storage and curtains issue wouldn’t put us off coming back, all in all it was a lovely hotel with an incredible view and lovely staff but there are things that could have made our stay even better.

Just hopping into bed on my last night in Playa Bella and all I can say is I wish I had longer!!! This was our first time taking our toddler on a sun holiday so naturally we were apprehensive. However, the Playa Bella experience has been phenomenal and we have all had a ball. From the moment we arrived, every member of staff encountered has been so friendly. For the majority of our stay we were on complex grounds - dined at both pool resteraunts which were lovely and also at the Optimist bar which ajoins to the complex. Entertainment for children is fantastic - the 2 ladies working the mini club are amazing. Although our daughter is still too young to attend by herself, the girls made us feel so welcome to stay with her and our daughter barely glanced at us when she had these 2 amazing ladies around. Pool games in the afternoon were brilliant fun and so inclusive to children of every age. Face painting and mini disco each evening was so lovely and brilliant excitement for all the kids. The beach at the complex is by no means the best beach in Ibiza but grand and so handy with kids as you can just run back up to your apartment rather than hauling everything off to the beach. The apartments are so modern and have everything you need for self catering. While this didn't affect me as our balcony had a gorgeous pool and sea view - I would be concerned about getting an apartment that looks out on to the derelict building adjacent to the hotel. I know this is through no fault of Playa Bellas but I do think that would take from my holiday. The hotel is in such a lovely area - we always felt safe. Loads of fab and reasonably priced family friendly resteraunts and cafes nearby and a really nice playground just around the corner too. I couldn't recommend it more for a family holiday. Recently came to this wonderful place , as a support worker for a family.Wonderful, accessible rooms on ground floor.The staff in the bar next to the stage were incredible, animation team phenomenal with the kids.Ate breakfast in the bar by the stage, and evening meal..delicious . Beach nearby not fabulous, but boat taxis wonderful, 5 Euro ever half hour to San Antonio, and boat trips.Staff a great strength of this hotel from the lovely reception ladies, to the cleaning staff-plenty of sunbeds, and respectable 8am queue! This hotel is wonderful.Some derelict buildings, graffiti around the area, but loved the urban mix in with the new.Great supermarkets, bars, shops within throwing distance! A big thank you to Xavier..the incredible artist, who did a characteture , for a present to take home.My son and his wife were thrilled, and oride of place in lounge .Artist, and author...it was a priveledge. The evening entertainment was great..we loved the Four tops and Freddie Mercury tribute .Awesome. Lastly, A huge thank you to Manager Daniel for his unforgettable kindness.Memories made.

Great family hotel, pools were great kids loved them, plus swimming in the sea just outside the gate. Food was good in both restaurants, full Monty breakfast very nice.the rooms were very spacious for our family of 5. We got the boat taxi over once its gone up to 5e, your better off getting a taxi which is only 10e to san Antonio, but do try the boat once, kids like it.the only complained we had was the lift to block 7, was broke 5 of the 7 days we were there,not ideal with a big stroller carrying up the stairs to 3rd floor, overall we would stay againno problem

We arrived at the hotel and I was thinking what have I booked but it was perfect for what we needed. Had to wait for our room to be ready but we just got changed and sat by the beach which was fine by us. We had a room on the ground floor right by the pool which was great! The room was lovely and clean and very modern. Beds abit hard but you can live with it. Room was cleaned twice. We ate at the restaurants for breakfast which was lovely and onces for a meal and we couldn’t fault it. We ate at Jonnys just outside the hotel and it was the best burgers and nachos iv ever had! Definitely go there!! We also ate at Minimal which was stunning!! Water taxi was ideal and our son loved it, 5 euros an adult kids are free. We done this twice and had a lovely walk back round the bay. There are children parks around the bay which our son loved to stop at and play on our walk back. Go to euroski supermarket for food and drinks. Nice and cheap and only a few min walk down the road. We never had any issues getting a sun bed round the pool and you can take your own food and drink round it aswell. No big inflatables in the pool but pool noodles and small ones for children where allowed. We had a great time and would return to this hotel as it’s an ideal base! Thank you.
