Cavos Bay Hotel & Studios

I can’t believe this hotel only has 3 stars. It should have a higher rating. I had a wonderful room with a private balcony overlooking the Aegean. Housekeeping staff were courteous and friendly and did a great job. The breakfast was huge with lots of variety. From savory treats to freshly baked apple cake and cookies each morning, plus the huge bowl of yogurt and fresh fruit. Best of all is the hotel manager, Marina, always smiling and welcoming with excellent suggestions and willingness to make reservations and arrangements as requested. She also doubles as a bartender and shared her home grown herbs for me to take home. She personified Greek hospitality! I’d give this place 5 stars!!

We stayed in a renovated room on the first floor overlooking the sea. There was a terrace beyond our private outdoor space from which we watched the sunset every evening before walking to one of the many restaurants nearby. Plenty of space for our hire car. Good breakfast & lovely staff. Very clean & well situated.

We are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3 toddlers. We stayed at Cavos bay and we were given a beautiful and spacious room! We had 2 bedrooms, 2 balconies a kitchen and a bathroom. The view was amazing! We were right in front of the Aegean sea and over the beautiful pools of the hotel. Location is also great as we could walk to the reastaurants and shops. We always found a place to park in the parking which was next to the entrance to our room. Breakfast was served at a beautiful balcony with view and we had all we needed to eat and drink. Staff was great, always served our needs and were friendly and polite! As travelling with 3 toddlers is hard, Cavos bay Hotel made is super nice for us! Thank you!

Very good hotel with great location. Amazing view, nice pools and good variety in breakfast. In negatives, there are many flies in the breakfast and many foods are uncovered. In general clean hotel however the last day they just empty our bins.

Wonderful place, nice rooms. It's my 2nd year here..The hotel is run by a lovely family that make me feel at home every time I go. They even invited me for dinner at their house during Easter.Highly recommend.

Our stay at The Cavos Bay was without fault. We were lucky enough to secure a double aspect room which had been recently refurbished to a very high standard, which had two balconies- one ideal for taking in the sunrise, and the other providing unmatched views of the sunset over the Aegean. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Over and above this the whole vibe of this hotel is incredibly unique the owners manage to walk a very natural balance between offering excellent service in all aspects, whilst also having a real family feel to the place which makes you feel immediately at home, relaxed and taken care of. Without exception the staff were warm, friendly and could not do enough. The breakfast is absolutely great- do not miss out on the local yogurt and honey- it’s something else!! All of the pastries and jams are homemade with love using local ingredients and you can tell. The dining experience is also unique- a terrace with views of the Aegean with a very relaxed friendly vibe. There’s a lovely sized swimming pool as well as an infinity plunge pool with ample sun loungers and shade available- it’s peaceful and relaxed poolside. There’s a bar in the main reception which serves coffee and drinks all day into the late evening, where guests can gather to socialise and admire the starry skies after a beautiful sunset- we had several great evenings over a cocktail or two!! Overall I rate the hotel 10/10 we have booked again for 2023!!!!

Perfect location with nice view in the village of Armenistis. Few minute walk from the village. Very clean , comfortable and quiet room with nice sea view. Value for money. Very helpful and kind staff.

A nice hotel, in a very beautiful and convenient location, with spectacular views. The garden view rooms would need a renovation, however they are decent and very clean. The price in relation to the period I stayed was very reasonable. Above all I was impressed by the kindness of the staff, who were always smiling and willing to help.

This hotel was perfect for our stay Easy walk into the village, the room was very comfortable with stunning views from the balcony of the ocean and the hotel pool. The public rooms were spacious and classy with the bar being open for that late night drink. The self serve breakfast on the patio was varied and great quality. The staff at this family owned hotel were warm and welcoming. If I return to ikaria I would stay here without hesitation
