Je voulais visiter le palais Yongle à Yuncheng. J'ai donc trouvé un bon hôtel près du palais pour arriver tôt. L'emplacement et le cadre étaient excellents, et le service était attentionné. Comme le quartier était assez désert, je n'avais pas de voiture et j'ai dû manger à l'hôtel. La nourriture était délicieuse, et les écrevisses étaient particulièrement savoureuses. La chambre était assez récente. Le seul problème était que la salle de bain et la douche partageaient une porte coulissante, donc l'une d'elles était toujours ouverte sur la porte, ce qui était un peu inconfortable. Le plus frustrant était que la chambre était construite en matériaux préfabriqués mobiles, avec des murs très fins. La chambre que j'avais réservée avait un plafond plat, ce qui nous exposait directement au soleil. Avec le soleil du Shanxi qui frappait à 40 degrés Celsius, même après notre arrivée cet après-midi-là, la climatisation fonctionnait à plein régime, mais elle ne parvenait pas à rafraîchir. De plus, la chambre était orientée à l'ouest, ce qui rendait le soleil de l'après-midi encore plus chaud. Il était très inconfortable d'y rester, et la température ne s'est rafraîchie que le soir. Le fruit de bienvenue était pré-coupé et avait résisté à une chaleur de 30 degrés pendant on ne sait combien de temps, il était donc périmé. Nous avons ensuite examiné les différents types de chambres de l'hôtel. Hormis les chambres à toit plat de la rangée supérieure que j'avais réservées, les chambres plus grandes du dessous ont toutes des toits en duplex, ce qui devrait offrir une bien meilleure protection solaire. En bref, si vous séjournez ici en été, évitez de réserver une chambre à toit plat. Si vous y êtes absolument obligé, évitez une chambre orientée à l'ouest.
