« Best Western Plus Hotel Chitose – Convenient Airport Stay with Mixed Service My family and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Chitose this week. The hotel is about 10–15 minutes from New Chitose Airport, and the taxi ride cost roughly $30 USD, which made travel very convenient. Our arrival experience wasn’t the strongest start. We arrived around 2:00 pm and were told our room was ready but that we would need to pay an additional fee to check in one hour early. They held our luggage while we waited in the lobby, and about 10 minutes before official check-in time they offered to let us in to our room (10 minutes early) as a “favor.” Since the room was already prepared, this felt unnecessary and didn’t set the most welcoming tone to charge us. Even simply delivering our luggage to the room while we explored would have been appreciated. The room itself was quite good. It was clean (besides couch stain and shower smudge), relatively spacious by Japanese standards, and stocked with the usual thoughtful amenities common in Japan. The beds were comfortable, and having three pillows per bed was a nice touch. The soaps also felt high quality. The TV is not placed at an angle that makes it easy to watch from the bed, only the couch but we didn’t use it or this living room area. The location is another plus, with several restaurants, Seven-11 and shops within easy walking distance. Service was somewhat inconsistent. The concierge provided a map with recommendations but mentioned being new to the area and couldn’t share much additional insight. When we asked the night desk attendant about nearby places serving Japanese soufflé pancakes for breakfast, she suggested waiting for the hotel café to open at 10:00 am, even though they don’t actually serve pancakes, which wasn’t especially helpful. Overall, the hotel is clean, comfortable, and very convenient to the airport with reliable WiFi. Just don’t expect highly proactive hospitality or detailed local recommendations beyond the basics. »

« Location: Within the airport international terminal. Short indoor walk from Arrivals. Very convenient. Atmosphere: Calm, quiet and friendly. Warm welcome. Full of artistic features. Rooms: Well appointed, spotlessly clean. Spacious. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Amenities: Library. Tea House and Onsen Breakfast: Lovely breakfast spread. Delicious ramen. We would love to be back. »

« 一泊だけさせていただきました。 当日はちょうど雪が降っており、外はかなり冷えていましたが、ロビーはもちろん、部屋の中も暖かく、綺麗に清掃が行き届いており、快適に過ごせました。 歯ブラシやバスタオル、ドライヤーなど、アメニティ用品も充実しており、特に不自由しませんでした。 強いていうなら、ベッド上のコンセントがスマホの充電器、ドライヤー共にしっかり差し込んでも効きが悪く、やむなくテレビ横にあったコンセントを使いました。 総評として、気持ちよく泊まることができたので、また機会があれば泊まってみたいです。 »

« La chambre d'hôtel est relativement petite mais dispose de tout ce dont vous avez besoin. C’est plus convivial pour ceux qui ont des escales ou des vols matinaux. La chambre twin ne peut pas regarder l'avion décoller et atterrir. Heureusement, nous avons communiqué avec elle lors de l'enregistrement. Au final, afin de regarder l'avion décoller et atterrir, nous avons changé pour une chambre double, et le prix est resté le même. . Le petit-déjeuner à l'hôtel commence à 6 heures et il est juste à temps pour l'enregistrement après avoir terminé le repas. Le prix est un peu cher, mais c'est vraiment pratique. C'est au troisième étage du terminal domestique. Il faut prendre l'ascenseur spécial à côté de la porte d'enregistrement E pour accéder au hall du troisième étage. »

« It’s a compact hotel located near the JR station, just a few minutes walk to the hotel. There is a free shuttle service to the airport, but you have to show your intention when checking in. The reception staff is very attentive. The room is fully equipped. I will come back to stay here again when I have a chance. »

« La chambre est propre, confortable et située près de la gare dans la zone tranquille de Chitose, qui a fait un séjour relaxant. L'un des plus grands points de vue était le transport aéroportuaire convenable, surtout une énorme soulagement lorsque nous avons dû gérer nos bagages dans la neige. Il y a aussi un centre commercial près de l'hôtel, ainsi qu'une grande place de chaussures offrant de nombreuses options à des prix raisonnables. »

« Génial. Très facile à trouver. Et il y a un 7/11 juste au coin de la rue pour quelques en-cas. C'était notre premier arrêt après notre arrivée au Japon, et l'enregistrement était tardif, donc le fait que la réception propose un parking gratuit juste à côté m'a rassuré. Très professionnel. Mon niveau d'anglais est juste suffisant pour communiquer avec vous. Merci pour votre gentillesse. »

« All amenities, room, and facility are OK. They has a small Onsen tub. I stayed here to plan to get to the airport in the morning fast. It is only 2 stations away from New Chitose Airport and very close to Chitose station in 1 mins walk. Pretty expensive during snow festival tho. »

« I booked this hotel as I needed to fly out early from Chitose. Overall I would stay again. I arrived at 12pm but wasn't able to check in until 3pm but my luggage could be stored. The rooms are SMALL but practical, no complaints. The TV has all the local stations - couldn't find any english stations. It is closeby the train station and shopping mall, so easy to go out and grab a bite to eat. I noticed that the airline crew were staying here as well. As I had skis with me, I couldn't take the free shuttle provided, but the staff were kind enough to book a taxi for me. »

« The hotel staff is very nice in helping us checking in and gave us 4 tokens for the vending machine (we're a group of 5). Each coin worth 150 JPY. The onsen is clean and safe, separate floor for men and women onsen. For women, there will be a code to enter when entering the onsen on the 14th floor. The room is clean and the AC works well. Great overall experience. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to the airport. 8 people per bus. »
