« I do always book here whenever I go to Baguio. Quiet place. Amenities are good. More importantly, air conditioned. Problem this time, I booked a 2 bedroom (Room L5). There’s a leak in the restroom so the floor is always soaking wet. The staff just wiped it dry one night and it was flooded again in the morning. Was worried with the 2 senior citizen I stayed there with. No change room was offered, no compensation whatsoever.
Will still book here though I won’t be getting the same room anymore. »

« Hello there. First, the hotel is a little far from the bus station, but to be honest, it is a very good spot, especially if you want to sight see the beauty of Baguio because of the amazing views when you eat at their restaurant or dining area. The staff is quite accommodating but not so friendly. We also need to rent a hair dryer worth 200php deposit, but it is okay for us. My sister ordered a beef burger steak which is quite similar to the Jolibee burger steak, which is quite delicious, she said, but for me, I ordered a chicken teriyaki, which is just okay for me. The room has no window, so we need to go downstairs to feel the breeze of coldness in Baguio in the morning and do a little jogging. And the restroom is quite a little smelly and dirty when the yellow stains are in the toilet bowl, which is quite annoying. But overall, even though there are disadvantages, I still enjoyed the experience of this hotel because of the baguio feel. I hope next time they will improve their services and facilities and also the staff will be nice and more friendly. Thank you uphill hotel Baguio »

Very accommodating staff, clean room, and complete amenities. They provide towels, shampoo, and soap, plus there’s a 7/11 downstairs. Casa Bel is in the basement, so just ask the guards, landmarks are Polylite Baguio or PNB Village Upper at the M.M. Gara Building.
Transportation is easy with taxis right outside. It’s 2.1 km from the city, costing around ₱100–₱150. Breakfast is delivered on time, the WiFi is fast, and YouTube works smoothly. »

« The staff are all nice and friendly as they allowed us to leave our belongings on the reception area since we arrived early as the check in time is 2pm. They also allowed us to leave our bags even after our check in at 12 nn because we still roam around Baguio and left at night. The room service is also kind of good as we manage to get a help in setting up the hot shower. The room is also clean and worthy of the price you paid since we did not stay much at the hotel as we most the time outside while the location is kind of far from Burnham park but it is just near the La trinidad benguet and few blocks aways from Bell church which is also a great place to visit. The only issue we had is the service water as it seems to have an after taste and the breakfast that did not manage to finish because it also has a aftertaste. Overall the stay is good. »

We returned hoping for improvements after our last critical review, but found significant service failures persist. Management must urgently address these issues before our planned January visit.
* Room Welcome: Cookies appreciated, but a Baguio Rose flower stalk would be a more meaningful gesture.
* Housekeeping: Towels placed on the floor for replacement were simply re-hung; we had to call for clean ones.
* Front Desk: Only one staff member on duty led to three unanswered calls at night. This poses a serious safety risk in an emergency.
* Food (Breakfast): HORRIBLE quality. The buffet lacked creativity, was visually unappetizing, and items like the sausage were inedible. The Chef needs immediate supervision.
Management/GM: Please give these critical points your special attention. We need to see positive improvements in January; otherwise, we will seek other accommodations. »

MMiss PKOur stay at The Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay was truly pleasant. The atmosphere was calm and refreshing, surrounded by pine trees and cool mountain air. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were courteous and accommodating, making sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable.
Its location within Camp John Hay made it easy to explore nearby restaurants and attractions while still enjoying peace and quiet. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Baguio.

Given its prime location, just a walking distance from tourist spots (Burnham, Rizal Park, session road) and food crawls, it is one of the ideal places to stay within Baguio City.
If you’re into cafes, I suggest cafe hopping as well since there are a couple of cafes within the vicinity, the most famous being Foam coffee, Legarda branch.
Just sharing snippets of our short trip, within the area. Hotel room views and what nots. 😁

1. Great buffet bfast with a variety of food selections. I like their dried fish, omelette, langgonisa, coffee, breads, fruits. But noticed they did not serve bananas. Staff looks attentive to the needs of guests.
2. Have greats restos and shops nearby. Also near the CJH Conference area.
3. Has ample parking and nice garden plus heated pool.
However this hotel also needs improvement on the following areas:
1. Front desk looks like they are not coordinated. Made separate booking for three nights via Agoda and Trip.com and informed the hotel about this arrangement. However, after our first night, front desk asked us if we are extending our stay. Worst, they deactivated our key cards so we have to go down again to have them activated again which caused some inconvenience.
2. Toilet has a foul odor so called housekeeping who took some time to attend to us. They told us what to do to avoid the foul smell but some unpleasant smell still remained so reported this to the team leader who sent their engineering to check. The hotel staff told us they will return but never did. So problem was not solved.
3. Requested for late checkout since our trip back to Manila was still at 2pm. However, front desk cannot commit and said will require approval. We followed up and got no positive feedback. Called team leader and made complaints about issues 1-3 and had our request accepted.
4. Very difficult to book a taxi or grab and the guards said because of too many guests or tourists. But it’s a pity that such an expensive hotel also has no shuttles service.
We booked this hotel because it’s near the conference area but disappointed because we felt we didn’t get the value and services we were expecting. Anyway, thanks to the great staff.

KKSD31We recently stayed at this hotel, and overall, it was a good experience. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, with friendly and helpful staff who made our stay pleasant.
The room was also clean and comfortable, especially the bathroom it was spotless, with no signs of prior use or any foul smells. However, the lack of an exhaust fan meant that any odors stayed trapped inside. Additionally, the room had no windows that could be opened for fresh air circulation. While there was an air conditioner, it still felt like the air wasn’t circulating well.
Breakfast was just okay nothing special. The selection was quite limited, so you’re left with only what’s available. Compared to Elizabeth Hotel, which is more affordable and offers a more appetizing breakfast buffet with a wider variety, this was a bit of a letdown.
As for amenities, the hotel offers a jacuzzi and a heated pool, which is great in theory. However, their location in the middle of a restaurant makes it awkward to use since you’ll likely have an audience while swimming.
We also tried the Japanese restaurant on the mezzanine level. The food was good and affordable, but the sashimi was cut too thick about an inch which made it difficult to eat.
Despite these minor inconveniences, I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional cleanliness. If cleanliness is a top priority for you, this hotel is a great choice!

IInvité1. The host is quick to respond. On the first day I found out that the kitchen cabnets were not clean and the sink was clogged. The host quickly sent people to clean the cabinet and unclog the sink.
2. There is a small store on the main road, just around 10 minute walk from the condo. You can buy a small bottle of oil so you can cook in the condo. The place is quiet so having a cup of tea in the balcony is a really good experience. Regarding transportation, you can take grab or jeepney so you still get around in Baguio pretty easily.
3. This is not a hotel. It's more like airbnb. You need to get connected with the host on whatsapp or viber to inform the time of your arrival and departure for the key handover and takeover.

Yun nga lng malaise sa sinong town. Wala msyadong Taxi kaya no choice magpapabook k tlga ng GRAB (200+ ang taxi fare pag grab pero pag regular nsa 100 ou moins) One thing nakakahilo yung pakyat s main lobby ng hotel, spiral ramp ksi tpos ang tarik pag di sanay un mgdrive mhhirapn tlga ska Sana may Nag Assistant Dun Sa Pag Akyat at Pagbaba ng Sasakyan Pra di Nagkakasalubungan at Maiwasan Yung Disgrasya.

IInvitéThe hotel and staff were fine . The amenities over the road were excellent. Great restaurants and patisserie. Location was a nightmare to get to and from Baguio centre . But that was mainly due to it being the busiest most unfriendly city in the Philipunes. Not to be recommended to westerners
