This place was perfection for our 30th wedding anniversary trip! This 1 bedroom cottage allowed me to get up early, make coffee, and watch the sunrise without waking up my husband! There was a coffee maker, full size fridge, and a full stove/oven in the room. We got our food at Sobey's in Fort Hawkesbury and grilled out on the gas grill on our porch while watching the light change on the bay. I loved this place and only wish we had stayed longer. For entertainment, we stopped at the Celtic Music Interpretive Center and had lunch. Then we proceeded to Mike's E Bikes and took a great bike ride!

Clean. Comfortable. But there is a distinct odour of septic in the front of the cottage. When we contacted the owner he said it was the ocean we were smelling. Not at all true, as there is no odour at the top of the hill on the driveway. He was very defensive, and not at all helpful. Nor was the person on duty in the office.

We rented #2 cabin with another couple for four nights. It was exactly how it was described on the website and what we were hoping for. Very quiet and beautiful view. Owner was always available to answer questions by phone. Very clean and was well supplied with items that you would need. Liked location in order to access Cabot Trail and surrounding areas. Restaurants and grocery store was only 10 minutes away.

This was a stop over for our travels around Cape Breton Island. Worked good for that purpose. Pretty close to Port Hawkins and Port Hawkesbury so convenient for shopping, gas, etc. Cabin was pretty basic but clean and bed was comfortable enough. Nice view from the front of the inlet.

Room was clean and pre warmed for arrival. the sea view could have been better (sea was a long way off to the front but could be viewed closer from the side of the cottage no. 8) otherwise ok. good wifi

The cabin we stayed in was large and comfortable. The view over the Atlantic towards Prince Edward Island was beautiful. There is access to the coastal trail just down the hill from the cabins. The housekeeper was very kind and helpful. The cabins are an easy drive to Judique in one directon and port Hawksbery/the Cape Breton Causeway in the other
