Avis : Golden Roof Hotel Ampang Ipoh

The room is so shallow that you can hear every single noise from outside!! It’s horrible that way through midnight the hotels allows Mat Rempits to ram their motorcycles!!! The bathroom had a lingering stench!! The bedsheets and pillowcases look and feel dirty! What’s worse the room has no fridge and they leave 2 huge coffee mugs but no kettle or instant coffee to make any!!! This place seems more like an overnight hostel rather than a hotel!!! I will never come back here to stay ever !!!

I arrive late at night and greet by a cockroach in the toilet. If u can tolerate it, the bed is actually comfortable and visibly clean. So I would say not bad for a one night stay.

This is my second time here. The bathroom tile quite dirty. And there is some smell going out from it. If you’re going to stay overnight its ok but if more than that you might wanna give it a thought.

The best location to visit Tambun on the next day. Easy to find food, 7 e & speedmart just next to the hotel. Very convenient

The room is spaces however there is no tea / coffee avilable and when wanted to reach front desk have to contact via WhatsApp. Should at least have the kettle for boiling water.

Had stayed at this hotel a few times and overall is ok in my experience. However, a little surprise to see the bed sheet has a few dirty stains on it this time staying. Hope the hotel mgmt can take more seriously on the hygiene and cleanliness.

Room size is big enough for comfort. Curtains are a bit small for the windows. The room is facing a school and near a mosque. Check in and out were efficient.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. The location is very strategic but to my surprise this visit was not so pleasant. My mum & myself checked in late night & when we flush the toilet bowl the water sound won’t stop until like 5 minutes. I called reception & the lady informed me that their maintenance are off work and the room they have only double bed. Since it was really late I didn’t want to change any room so decided to stay back. The shower was not good as the water temperature will suddenly turn cold and hot.

Just an ordinary budget type hotel, but price sometimes a bit high. I don't know why the cleaner always miss to clean the toilet bowl inside and outside. Watermark with dark colour. Certain hotel this is an issue for me.

Nice stay. We had a wedding nearby. Very convinient

The walls is full of marked and scratched. I ask service fan in toilet, they said will come tomorrow but never come.
