How NICE! Bed and Breakfast in Jefferson, perfectly located within easy walkiing of downtown, restaurants, and owned by a very charming couple. Fairly newer building, but built with the sections of older architecture, so nice plumbing and electrics, and cool details, doors, wndows, floors, etc.....comfy beds, lovely rooms, with unique decor to each room, great breakfast served in lovely dining area. Highly recommended, cannot think of a thing I would change.

The Steamboat Inn is the most extraordinary hotel that I've come across as a well-traveled swiss journalist in recent years. The rooms in the Victorian-style guest house are lovingly furnished, from the breakfast table to the four-poster bed. I will never forget my hostess Lana and will certainly return to the Steamboat Inn!

My friends and I came to Jefferson for a short “girl’s trip” to relax and spend time together. The Steamboat Inn did not disappoint. It is welcoming, nicely decorated in period style, and the owner is lovely and accommodating. Check in and check out were easy. There were fresh baked cookies, coffee, hot water, and wine in the entry hall. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. The fire pit outside was ready for us to enjoy after a day of travel and sightseeing. Lana cooked an excellent breakfast for us the next morning and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests. Other than the claw foot bathtub and exterior stairs posing a bit of a problem for mobility impaired guests, this is a wonderful inn and I would definitely return.

We just returned home from a two night stay at Lana and Alex lovely B and B. The Inn couldn't have been more warm and Welcoming. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud ANNND they also had a sleep sound machine in the room. Breakfast was delicious and different both mornings. They had coffee and wine available all day and fresh baked cookies in the afternoons. The location is about as close as you can get to downtown. The home is just charming and can't wait to return

Great a**osphere and breakfast . Sweetest couple ever! We stayed 3 nights . Had magnificent breakfast every morning. Fresh baked cookies every afternoon. Relaxing quiet Nieghborhood. Within walking distance to everything.

Lana and Alex were wonderful hosts. The B& B was amazing. We loved the decor and the breakfasts prepared by Lana was awesome. We will be back soon. Highly recommend the Steamboat Inn. Alex and Lana went out of tjeir way to make you feel at home. They gave us tils on where to eat and shop while in Jefferson.

This little gem is recommended by us. We were travelling across the state and found this when looking for an overnight stay. Such a beautiful Inn, which feels like a home. The bed room was quirky and with a huge comfy bed. We loved the little extras like wine in the hall way for guests, as well as coffee and biscuits. We enjoyed a freshly cooked breakfast and we were sorry to leave. Jefferson is a beautiful historic town off the main road and well worth a visit.

From check in to check out, our stay was perfection. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We felt like guests in their home. We stayed in the Magnolia room. The a/c kept the room at a comfortable temperature. Hot water was hot through two rounds of showers. I loved sitting on the front porch swing. I have no words for the breakfast! We had Eggs Benedict one day and eggs with biscuits the next. Crepes, fresh fruit, banana nut bread - it was all just so lovely.

This property has welcoming, friendly hosts. The rooms are comfortable with lovely bedding. Breakfast are delicious, a standout to help make this the choice for b&b in historic Jefferson. This is walking distance to restaurants and everything to see in this little town.
