This was our second stay here. We had the Bansbari Villa to ourselves. Unlike a certain high-end resort that I shall review at a later date, Musa doesn't pretend to give you a villa and then make you share it with strangers. You really do have a sitting room, a bedroom and a hallway with storage. The bathroom is large. Our room was next to a tree that was full of birds! The entire resort is frequented by beautiful birds. The restaurant serves decent food and they were very considerate and brought us breakfast and dinner, as we were on a working vacation and couldn't always go to the dining room. The other great thing about Musa was that we were able to work from there without any issues! The dongle the front desk lent us was good enough for video calls (this is something I had checked with them on before, I don't think they do this on a regular basis. But it was extremely helpful to us, as we worked in a peaceful, beautiful location until the wee hours. For safaris, their vehicle and their driver Sunil were both excellent. Sunil is a young guy. We were in awe of his calm demeanor as we were being followed by rhinos. Sunil's driving is also excellent. Sunil is very polite and was very pleasant to be around. Highly recommended. If there's one thing I'd recommend, it would be re-doing the bath tub in Bansbari villa, or taking it off altogether. It was cracked and takes away from the perfection of the amazing lodging. Everybody at the lodge is so very nice! Right from the front desk, to their General ***ager, to the guys in the restaurant, to Gopal who helped us with miscellaneous stuff, to their Sales ***ager who took us to see a rare pair of mating falconettes. We were on a hectic, stressful trip to India. We were working on US hours and had other commitments too which had us stressed physically and mentally. Musa provided us a peaceful haven in the midst of the madness. This is undoubtedly the best resort in Assam and the people there make it so.
