Avis : Courtyard by Marriott King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel

Excellent, chambre avec vue mer. L’hôtel est idéalement situé en bord de mer.

Pour le prix, l'hôtel n'était pas à la hauteur. Pendant les quatre jours où nous y étions, nous n'avons pas eu de service de ménage. La salle de bain n'avait pas de ventilateur. L'emplacement était bon. L'éclairage était médiocre (ou peut-être ne fonctionnait-il tout simplement pas) – je ne sais pas.

Disappointing Stay at a Marriott Property – Poor Housekeeping & Communication We stayed at the Courtyard King Kamehameha’s Kona Beach Hotel for 3 nights in June 2025, and it was unfortunately the worst hotel experience of our entire Hawaii trip. Despite being a Marriott property, the room was never cleaned during our entire stay. We checked in on June 6 and noticed the coffee machine was broken on the 7th. We assumed housekeeping would handle it—but nothing was cleaned or fixed. When I called the front desk, I was told housekeeping is only available every other day—something that was never mentioned at check-in. By the 8th night, the room was still a mess, the coffee machine still broken, and the shower had flooded the bathroom floor due to poor design. We also noticed a dead bug on the lamp that stayed with us throughout the trip and a malfunctioning AC monitor that made adjusting the temperature impossible. I tried to raise these concerns again when we checked out early on the 9th. The front desk apologized and said they’d follow up with a compensation plan—but it’s now been over a month with no response. That lack of follow-through is shocking from a Marriott. Even the concierge service—outsourced to a third party—was unhelpful. I strongly recommend not booking anything through them. This hotel was not the cheapest, but it was easily the worst value of all the places we stayed across Honolulu, Maui, and Big Island. I expect much better from Marriott and will think twice before booking with them again.

Good location Room is comfortable 

We had to live the next day. Very noisy room area no recommended for families.

Small but lovely beach inside the hotel grounds. Snorkel gears and beach chairs available to rent free of charge for hotel guests. Not too far from the airport, but the public buses are confusing and impossible to use.

Housekeeping service was every other day but no one came to serve our room. The bathroom door didn't have any and in fact didn't close properly. We were told the pool will be under construction but glad that it was not under construction. We were not told about breakfast time ends at 10:00 am but it ended at 8:30 am due to Easter brunch, that was not communicated. Other than these issues, the location is very good, with pool and beach access, staff is good too.

Daily house keeping service had to be requested. When requested it often wasn’t completed. Hotel was showing its age but overall safe and clean and in a great location.

It was great experience with this hotel. It has a pool and beach in front of the hotel. The staff was very kind and gave us warm welcome. The hotel was old fashion and The water pressure is low in the bathroom.

Staff super friendly and helpful! Location was perfect! Room was comfortable! Worked out great for our trip to Disneyland!

Nice people and so helpful

ロケーションも良くて、綺麗なホテル。 今回、2階の部屋でしたが、バルコニーの出入りで蚊などの虫が入ってきて、何度か刺されました。 シャワーを浴びるとドアの隙間から水が漏れて、床がビチョビチョになりました。 スタッフのサービスは、少し残念な感じ。 もう少し安ければ、また泊まりたいかな。

ホテル周辺にも様々なカフェや飲食店などがあってとてもいい立地かと思いました。 室内も清潔感があって、部屋からの景色も海が見えてとても良かったです！ ホテル内には、レストランもあり、観光して少し遅めに帰って来て周辺の飲食店が営業していない時に利用させて頂きました。メニューの種類も豊富でスタッフさんの対応も良かったです。

地段不錯，就在海邊🏝️，門口有個游泳池，往前十多米就是大海，海水清澈見底，有專門教浮潛和划船的，周邊有不少超市，ABC store就在門口，不遠有target和safeway
