Initially, I was unsure of what to expect when the taxi driver mentioned the hotel was far from the center. Upon arrival, the hotel appeared small yet clean. My first interaction with the receptionist was a surprise; despite having paid for the entire week via Priceline, I was asked to pay for the night. Exhausted, I complied, hoping to resolve the issue later. The next day, after inquiring, I was assured that they would sort it out with Priceline and that my credit card could cover any expenses. Two days later, the manager, Ratan, apologized and rectified the situation. The hotel boasts spacious rooms with large, comfortable beds and ample living space. The bathrooms are well-appointed, and the shower provides both hot and cold water satisfactorily. The breakfast offered was simple and straightforward, nothing fancy. The staff is exceptionally polite and efficient. Despite my initial skepticism about staying at Best Western Athena, overall, it turned out to be a pleasant experience.

I had great experience staying at Best Western Plus, Athena Hotel in Kampala, Uganda. The location is great. The service from front desk to dining and room service was great. I greatly appreciate Frnacis, Arnold, Evelyn, Margie, Grace and Maria for their professionalism. I hope hotel manager would recognize the mentioned above employees and do everything to reward and keep them for a long time. I would recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Kampala, Uganda. Thank you to General Manager who always check in with guests in the morning and throughout the day. What a great place! Totally satisfied with my stay.

Most comfortable and quiet hotel have ever been to, the staff are amazing and the atmosphere is favourable for two, our room was well design with red flower petals normally called roses, and a fruit platter awaited us, we truly enjoyed our stay.

At first I was skeptical about staying at Best Western Athena but from the moment I was picked promptly to my stay at the hotel everything was top notch. My room was clean, cozy, spacious and I loved the steam bath and sauna plus the fresh air around the pool that engulfed me. One of the best selling points is it's close proximity to Volts and Village Mall for us who love night life and shopping. Can't wait to be

Fabulous hotel, we arranged airport pick up and this was well arranged since l and my friend were traveling late in the night. The location for us was exactly what we were looking for- easy walking to the sites. The included breakfast buffet was the best and staffing were fantastic!!. The hostess who sat us was so friendly and enthusiastic. I wish we could have stayed longer at this hotel.

Hotel has very spacious rooms with very comfortable large beds and plenty for a living space as well. The bathroom are nice and shower delivers hot water quickly. The staff is extremely courteous and efficient. I will always stay here as many times as l visit Uganda.

Great hotel,great comfortable pool area and continental breakfast. Hotel location is great very near to the market with every thing you need and walking distance. I stayed over on Thursday and Friday night. Late evening Thurdsay, the Jazz treat was something to remember. Their service is great and wow a clean hotel surely! Rooms are spacious, good food and variety.

The perfect place for getaway parties. The food was great and the drinks were perfect. We ordered for meat platter for six which came with mocktails. Thanks to the Barman for the wonderful job for mixology of the cocktails and mocktails. The pool was very clear and service pool was prompt.
