We were looking for resort around Guwahati with short drive to destination. Silk route resort is one of them (please check distance from your specific starting point). Digital presence : There is a website and and FB ac. Please checkout Road condition : good till destination First impression : Serene, rustic, spatial, basic Parking : ample space Booking : Not required Seating : Outdoor cottage or indoor hall. We sat outside. Food : Basic quality, please do not keep your expectation high. Variety available. Serving time is reasonable. Price on higher side but considering the view and facilities offered, the price is reasonable. Cleanliness : The indoor area was clean but outdoor area was littered with food and utensil, probably used as a breakfast area. Toilet cleanliness 2/5. Accommodation : Did not stay. Saw a row of rooms. Gathered that they are non AC. May appeal to certain section of people. Scenery : USP is scenery. Clear open space. Cool bridge, day was hot but seating outdoor without fan was not difficult. Just go there for the scenery. Staff : Smiling face, short of staff but managing. Youtube : Lots of review available but they do not justify the place appropriately. Final word : Worth a visit, go early and grab a better cottage outdoor, facing the river.

The site of the Silk Route Spa Resort is also known as Bhuyan Firm or Little Paradise, Which is a Paradise of natural beauty surrounded by river Brahmaputra, beautiful views of hills, Lake measuring around 60 acres and Forests, yet very secured. Migratory birds are another important attraction of the resort which can be seen from the month of October to April.
Once you check in at this home away home, spread out amidst a heavenly ambience, there is a sense of quiet serenity. Every room of the resort affords the view in to the green hills and the river Brahmaputra
