Hôtels proches de Udispattuwa Sri Kathiresan Swamy Thevasthanam., Kandy

Séjour de 2 nuits durant les fêtes de Pérahera avec nos deux filles. Hôtel très bien situé au bord du lac, pas loin du temple et très calme. Les petits déjeuners sont excellents et particulièrement copieux. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et le personnel a été au petits soins avec nous durant notre séjour. Des gens vraiment très accueillants que l'on a eu du plaisir à rencontrer.

Nous avions eu une chambre avec une belle vue sur le lac et le temple.grande baie vitrée.la salle de douche est bien emménagée avec une vue sur l’extérieur.Le personnel laisse à désirer. Le couloir avait une odeur de cuisine due au passe-plat. La piscine est petite. Le petit-déjeuner est top. L’espace bar est super avec un serveur sérieux.

Very comfortable hotel and great breakfast, though the aircon in our room produced a musty smell. Good view of the lake but the hotel being up a hill, the view is a little distant.

Dès l'instant où nous sommes arrivés dans cet hôtel, le service était vraiment excellent. Nous sommes arrivés tôt, mais nous avons quand même pu nous enregistrer. Nous avons été accueillis avec des boissons et des collations rafraîchissantes à la noix de coco, et le personnel le plus serviable et adorable. Notre chambre était magnifique, très élégante, avec un petit balcon, une belle salle de bain (super produits de toilette !) et un lit extrêmement confortable. Parfait! Les petits déjeuners étaient délicieux, un choix si varié de nourriture, avec un bon café ! Nous sommes végétaliens mais il y avait beaucoup à manger. Le jour 2, nous avons eu des trémies fraîchement préparées remplies de dahl de lentilles - tellement délicieux! L'emplacement est idéal, très proche du lac et non loin de la gare. Nous sommes tombés sur un homme qui travaille à l'hôtel lorsque nous étions en train d'explorer (il n'était pas de service à l'époque mais nous a reconnus dès notre arrivée) et il était SUPER serviable, marchant avec nous pendant un moment, soulignant endroits où aller, et il nous a même aidés à acheter des billets pour un spectacle de danse traditionnelle. Nous n'étions à Kandy que pour 2 nuits, mais nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans cet hôtel. Recommande fortement.

Superbe hôtel. Personnel efficace et sympathique. Chambre spacieuse et propre. Vue sur Kandy splendide. A 5mn des commerces. Vue sur la ville et les environs le soir en prenant un bain dans la piscine. Salle de sport bien équipé et propre. Le petit déjeuner fabuleux et le repas du soir sous forme de buffet exceptionnel, digne d'un restaurant étoilé. Musique d'ambiance pendant les repas et dans le hall. Le meilleur hôtel de notre séjour et à un tarif raisonnable pour un 5 étoiles. Parfait

Nous avons dîné ici le 13 août 2024. Les normes ont chuté depuis notre dernière visite et l'ancien GM est parti. Lorsque nous sommes allés, il y avait environ 7 à 8 personnes dans la veranda frontale qui se tenaient autour et regardaient. Une fois que nous avons assis pour dîner périodiquement Le chef sortit et avait des conversations avec le personnel dans la veranda de dîner, puis 4 membres du personnel ont eu une conversation près de la porte de la cuisine pendant de longues périodes. Il avait l'atmosphère d'un café de village avec toutes ces réunions et conversations qui se déroulaient et je commençais à vidéor le drame de style de village et puis ils ont disparu et je les entendais avoir une conversation derrière moi. La carte American Express, un autre membre du personnel, en plus du serveur, regardait sur mon épaule et je me demandais s'il voulait ma pince. Il s'en est allé avec un sourire de mouton. Ce sont des bagages culturels qui n'ont pas été traités par la formation. Le restaurant est un établissement de qualité, mais il ne devrait pas avoir disparu avec ma carte d'express américaine platine. J'ai parlé à la nouvelle GM de ces questions, mais sans beaucoup de confiance.

Hotel à l'extérieur du bruit de la ville .... chambre très propre avec un petit balcon sympa .... buffet correct mais conforme au groupe cinamum moins goûteux qu'à L'hôtel....... mais service vraiment exceptionnel du personnel de restauration avec le responsable d'une extrême gentillesse et à l'écoute de ses clients .... le site est sympa au bord de rivière, c'est paisible..... je recommande ....

The hotel is very individual and boutique ;in a beautiful setting overlooking the hills surrounding Kandy It is tastefully appointed ,and is decorated impeccably in a colonial style, with a modern twist. In essence it is peace and tranquility. However, the settling and the decor is only part of its charm. The staff from, the manager down ,could not do enough for us. They also have an excellent restaurant, providing delicious food from, breakfast, lunch, high tea to dinner. We took the inclusive package as we didnt want to hunt for restaurants, and have never been treated better. This included drinks to compliment the excellent food, and also some excursions, hiking bird watching etc. This was organised and led by a very knowledgeable hotel guide, Banuka. I really challenge anyone to find any better.
