Beautiful location on Kapalua bay with excellent rooms and views. Great service as well as pool and beach access. Wonderful spa. Great valet and bell service as well as use of kapalua shuttle and Escalades. Pool side service and food could be better.

We had a wonderful little family get away at this beautiful resort in remote Kapalua on Maui. From the check-in and service by the bell and valet desk, to the room service team and the pool attendants, everyone on property was so friendly and welcoming. We splurged on the 3 bedroom villa with a private pool and hot tub and none of us really wanted to leave the room. The lanai is large and relaxing and its far enough away from the center of the property that it really did feel like we we had the entire resort to ourselves. It was a real treat to have our reserved parking stall just steps from our front door. There were some nice choices on property for our food and beverages, one of the favorites being the drinks and snacks at the main pool. For a “get away from it all” kind of vacation, I can’t imagine a more magical place.

Poor service with a poorly trained staff. Good facility in need of maintenance. Rooms and housekeeping very good. Food was barely edible. Pool service was non existent. Cane and Canoe, main restaurant was awful with poor service and terrible food. Food at poolside was equally bad. Breakfast-burnt toast eggs over or under cooked, coffee not available, service very bad. Generally employees stood around talking to each other rather than service the guests. This condition prevailed throughout the hotel. The only exceptions were the Valet and Concierge who were both excellent. I would not return unless there is a Management change. Montage should be ashamed.

We have stayed at some incredible hotels but the staff here truly make each stay a wonderful experience, from Rick on the Concierge team to Sherry and Michelle at Paintbox, and everyone else on the team. It feels like home (and paradise!) each time we visit, and we do so annually because we love it so much. The resort is next to one of the best beaches to snorkel and swim safely, and is a short walk to Merriman’s. The rooms are immaculate and comfortable and the service is top-notch. Food is great, too!

The Montage Resort was perfect for our family with small kids. It was luxurious as well as accommodating for families. We all had spa trea**ents and the spa was wonderful. The staff and the service were excellent. The fact they had complimentary hotel cars to take us to dining reservations off the property eliminated our need to rent a car. This was a great added perk. The Paintbox had such fun activities for the little ones (ages 5 and 7) that they wanted to go back every day. All of us thoroughly enjoyed, the beauty and tranquillity of this property. We would definitely recommend it, and we would go back!!!

This is our 4th stay at the Montage at Kapalua Bay, Maui. The suites are spacious with nice balconies for dining and relaxing with stunning views of the ocean. Saw many whales. . The staff is very friendly, helpful, and professional. Nice pool areas with beverage and food service. We will return.

This is exactly what I imagined paradise would look and feel like, not an exaggeration! Hidden Behind the infamous Cliff House is the Jewel of Kapalua Bay Montage. The endless pools and hot Jacuzzis the pool bar and service were on point we even got a famous tattoo artist (side job bartender) that gave us temporary ink tattoos on our hands was added to the unique experience. The chefs in the restaurant were amazing as the dishes they created not to forget the comedian behind the late night cocktails at the hideaway. Car service and room service what more can you ask for.. looking forward for a return visit. Thanks Dick. 🌞

The Montage is great but the thing that let it down was the Chris**as decorations! I adore Chris**as and the festive decorations but from the entrance from the road to the Chris**as trees in the hotel the colour scheme was green with brown, gold and silver which was so dull and un-festive! What has happened to good old traditional red?? I hate to say it but we visited the Ritz on a few occasions for dinner and their decorations were far better, colourful and more cheery. My review would have had 5 stars if it were not for the depressing Chris**as decs, the only nice thing was the red poinsettia by the entrance.

Review for the spa. Wife and I had trea**ents this past week for the first time. Spa building was beautiful with excellent service from all we encountered. Grab a trea**ent in one of the outdoor "huts", it was magnificent.
