Superbe accueil dans cet hôtel, notre point de chute au Népal durant notre séjour de deux mois. Nous sommes restés une dizaine de nuit en plusieurs fois. Il est possible de stocker des affaires entre vos séjours. Les chambres sont confortables et spacieuse, les salles de bain sont fonctionnelles et propres. Sur le toit il y a une magnifique vue. L'hôtel est très bien placé a 3 minutes de thamel dans un quartier calme.

Nice clean hotel on a quiet street, 5 min walk from Thamel. Comfy beds! Hot water any time. Nice rooftop cafe. Stayed there twice. The room with shared bathroom is actually OK, because there are only two rooms per floor who use it. Room includes simple breakfast (eggs/toast/fruit), also welcome dinner (traditional Nepali dal bhat). The owner Buddhi was very welcoming and helpful with everything — bus tickets, night taxi, etc He has a travel agency, so tours and trekking also available.

I arrived here from India on November 9th. I will leave on January 1st. So that's 53 nights in total. I could have moved around Nepal, but decided to stay only in Kathmandu. It's my third stay at Blue Mountain Homestay. Perfect for me. A family run hotel with a small team of honest, reliable, trustworthy, helpful workers. Nothing was too much to ask. Very clean and well maintained. Only 5 minutes walk from Thamel, but in a quiet area. I had to stay here longer than normal due to a change in the Indian Visa regulations. I will be coming back next September/October for more of the same. My only criticism was that Buddhi, the owner, doesn't have a cat. I have 13 cats in Goa & I desperately needed to stroke a cat whilst I was here. He says he's looking for a black cat. I hope he gets one by September 2024!!!!

What a wonderful and welcoming homestay in Kathmandu. Staff were friendly and attentive from the moment we arrived. Blue Mountain was very clean and quiet, beds were comfortable and morning breakfasts simple, fresh and great start for the day. We also had two awesome dinners. We were amazed at how helpful they were in giving advice and helping arrange transport, day trips and travel tickets - and their prices were very fair indeed. After our experience it would certainly be a place we would not hesitate in returning to. Many thanks to you all at Blue Mountain.

This was a very cozy, interesting place to stay very close to the main shopping district in Kathmandu. The owner was very friendly as were all of the other employees that we interacted with during our stay. The rooms were clean, the building felt very safe and secure, and there were plenty of tables and chairs to sit around playing games or whatever in between trips to explore the city.

Comfortable rooms, nice rooftop restaurant, and amazingly friendly cook and owner. Restaurant serves good food at a very reasonable price. Right next to Thamel (5mn walk) in a quiet and calm street. Owner can help to organize tours.

The accommodation is in an ideal location to see all the sights in Kathmandu, with the added bonus that it’s outside of the noise of Thamel - and yet Thamel is only 5 minutes away. The rooms are large, clean and all have external windows (making the rooms so light and airy). The in-house breakfast is a great way to start the day, with the added bonus of sitting outside to enjoy the views from the rooftop. What makes this so special are Mr Buddhi and his staff - so attentive and focussed on making sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend to other travellers, and we look forward to visiting Nepal and staying again.

The host/hotel owner was incredibly friendly and responsive. The accommodations were quite nice in a great location. The morning breakfast was just the right amount of food. I would definitely recommend staying here.

I had a wonderful stay at Blue Mountain. I have stayed here before, and I enjoy every time I do stay here. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and willing to help out in all ways. The rooms are comfortable and secure. The wifi is high speed and reliable. The location is great.
