C'est un hôtel cinq étoiles relativement correct, sans caractéristiques particulières. Il est bien pire que Dwarika et le prix est également beaucoup plus bas. J'ai séjourné ici pendant deux nuits et j'ai déménagé à Dwarika pour une nuit. La différence n'est pas très différente. Petit.

La salle est assez soignée et présente des éléments népalais, mais elle est un peu vieille.

Très calme et confortable, l'environnement est également très propre.

Il y a des hôtels typiques de style népalais, mais la qualité de l'eau est un peu jaunâtre, mais tout le reste va bien.

Very nice and renovated hotel in the center of Kathmandu. Very nice rooms

Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates). Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information. Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Thank you Mr Prakesh for the awesome service in the restaurant.

Good hotel

We stayed 7 nights at the Yak and Yeti and we had selected this property because of its close vicinity with sights. Hotel is perfectly located a 10 minute walk to the Royal Palace and 15 minutes from Thamel. It is standing in a nice park which is nice to relax from the vibrant and lively streets of Kathmandu. The Hotel stands as part of a former palace and its new wing offers nice views over the old pink Newar facade. Lobby is huge and offers two restaurants (one for breakfast and dinner, the other one, for Gourmet food by the fireplace). There is also a very nice gallery with shops. Our room, Double De Luxe Heritage was spacious, elegant, clean and overlooked the garden and pool. As heritage style it had a sofa by the bay (which is nice to relax) and nice wood carvings for the bed headbord. The kingsize bed was super confortable. The bathroom had a nice size and the shower a great water pressure. Buffet Breakfast was Fantastic ! The chef Rajendra made delicious and fresh soup of our choice every morning, with either pasta or raviolis. Eggs of our choice, saussages, cheese, main Nepalese dishes, fruits and rolls were super fresh. But what has made our stay enjoyable is the memorable staff members who, from the reception, to the restaurants have overpassed the Nepalese hospitality and sense of clients service. We ate every evening at the Chimney restaurant which food and service were excellent. The room was very cosy with working fire place. Food was délicate and very tasty. Great ! Stopped here three times in transition to various destinations in the region. It services groups and meetings but does it with efficiency and good service. Rooms are comfortable, if worn and a bit dated, yet clean and stocked with bottled water, requisite toiletries, and AC. Breakfast has a good variety including dosa and omelette to order. Room service is a good alternative to restaurants in the neighborhood, as there aren’t many.

The palak patta chaat was such a lovely dish with perfectly complementing flavors. We also enjoyed the shrimp maati for an entree followed by the baked yogurt with fruit compote. Everything was incredible and we will remember this meal favorably!

We visited during Tihar festival. The Yak and Yeti hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was very modern. The bed was comfortable. The pillows were nice. The bathroom perfect. The GARDEN and grounds were exactly what we needed. To walk around Kathmandu is mayhem! (And we are from New York City, so crowded cities are our jam.) it was such a pleasure to return from the streets of Kathmandu to the most pleasant and beautiful grounds and garden. Why did I give it less than 5 stars? Breakfast was included. The breakfast offerings were high quality and varied, Nepalese and western. But the restaurant at breakfast was somewhat chaotic. I think they were understaffed because of the festival.

This is like good hotel well appointed rooms, specially on the heritage side. The front desk staff is very helpful, specially Prinshu who went out of the way to make sure our stay was comfortable. The last day we had an unpleasant experience as the TV did not function for the entire day. Would go again to the hotel.

Highly recommended to stay in the old wing with a garden view. The rooms are spotless, unique and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable and the sitting area by the window and the wooden decorations were superb. The conferences area has great halls and the staff at the hotel and the convention center were extremely helpful and friendly.
