D une architecture sidérante lorsque l’on arrive, et même après. Dans un style newar traditionnel, avec de magnifiques fenêtres, moucharabieh, sculptées. Notre chambre était spacieuse et confortable un petit déjeuner très complet et un personnel très très sympathique. Il y a trois restaurants très différent où l’on mange très bien. Il y a 3 restaurants différents qui proposent des spécialités népalaise. C’est pas donné mais c’est bon Merci à toute l’équipe du Dawrika pour leur accueil.

Amazing hotel, with the biggest and most beautiful court yards. Went there for dinner, which was excellent, the service made us feel special, staff was very helpful and professional. The whole place is done tastefully...wish I could afford to stay there, but at 500$ a night (I was told).....not possible

spent 2 nights here to celebrate my wife's birthday! From the moment we checked in to our departure true Nepalese hospitality. Make sure you get a Junior suite and find yourself amidst luxury! Shiva the manager truly embodies the essence of what Dwarika's stands for: a true warm guest experience. We celebrated Nepali New Year with a great outdoor buffet experience and also ate at Mako's also an excellent dining option. You can walk out and a few minutes you are in Pashupatinath UNESCO site. But once inside the facility you will not want to leave. Need to be there! Few places like this exist anymore.

This property was a true gem on so many levels. Physically, the attention to detail and the care that went into restoration is apparent everywhere. Our room was spacious and attractive and, frankly, quite interesting in detail. The common areas were very comfortable and welcoming, and we loved the musical offerings in the afternoon. Even more impressive was the staff. Without exception, they were gracious, welcoming, and helpful. From the greeting in the driveway to the waitstaff at the restaurants, we felt appreciated and cared for. There was no need to leave the premises for dining. We enjoyed our meals at the outdoor restaurant and a very special meal at Krishnarpan. Many thanks to the Dwarkia's family for a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We stayed in the royal suite. This is surely THE place to stay in Kathmandu. Beautiful hotel, lovely courtyard area, convenient location (airport and sights close). There is nothing the staff won’t do to help. Management are totally on top of their game. A very well run hotel with a long history of providing the top end experience in Kathmandu. Use in conjunction with Kathmandu Travels & Tours who will look after any bespoke top-end experience in Nepal.

As soon as you pass through the high walls sheltering the Dwarika Hotel from the main road, you are transported to a different world. The Dwarika creates a unique atmosphere, blending traditional Nepalese architecture and artwork with first class customer service. Guest rooms are spacious and comfortable. The beautiful grounds allow guests the option to take meals and refreshments outside. There are a number of excellent dining option within the hotel. We enjoyed the Fusion Bar and had a memorable six course meal at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Krishnarpan. The hotel is located in a central position, close to the airport. It is also a short walk to one of Kathmandu’s extraordinary sights, the Pashupatinath Hindu temple complex, located on the Bagmati River. We were privileged to spend time here witnessing the ceremonies of daily life. The Dwarika is a special place to stay. Its atmosphere is evocative and calming. It is like stepping back in time.
