Great location overlooking the Tzoumerka mountain. Room very nice with a nice view of the maintain. Breakfast was tasty with good selections, every day they change the manu. Owner is a nice friendly lady.

Excellent hotel. The staff is very helpful.good food. We love the hotel. We were several people in a trip and we enjoyed the place and the room very much. Don't miss the place. Stay there and enjoy the view . You can walk on the A1 road trip until the breeg.

The hotel is located in a very good spot, close to traditional villages, great view and suitable for those who love walking bythe river. It is a family-run hotel and the owners give their best on hospitality. The room we stayed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast and dinner were ecxellent, tasty, very good quality. Nikki and Georges run this friendly family hotel in the less well known northern part of inland Greece. Good, welcoming and friendly service. The excellent food is prepared from local products.. much of it grown themselves. The location perfect for hiking, biking and other outdoor sports.... there is plenty to explore and plenty of small villages to visit.

The hotel is newly built and the rooms are clean, well maintained and welcoming. The area is quiet and charming and the family that runs it is super friendly, kind and made our stay a joy. We came with our extended family and the yard was a place for everyone to have a drink and the kids to play.. highly recommend it!!!

It was great and Niki the hostess was very nice and helpfull. Breakfast was great. The hotel is butifull. I really recommend it. The panorama from the hotel ismagnificent. I will definitely return ther.

We booked for 2 nights at this family run hotel. We were greeted and welcomed by Nikki. She was extremely polite and very professional. Our room was extremely large, clean and ideally located with lovey view of mountains. Great choice of buffet style breakfast. Evening meal was extremely delicious. George ( Owner ) was very helpful to tell places of interest and how to get there. We would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay.

While searching for our accommodations in Tzoumerka, the Gefiri Plakas Hotel ratings in TripAdvisor drew my attention. The rating ranged between mostly “Excellent” with only a few “Very Good”. To be honest, I couldn’t add much to all the praising this hotel gets. All the praises are absolutely right. The Plaka Bridge, which the hotel is named after, is famous for the numerous times it had collapsed. It was recently rebuilt in 2020. A short drive from the hotel leads to the Plaka Bridge. The Gefiri Plakas is a family owned hotel that puts an emphasis on hospitality. The kind owners, Niki & George, get out of their way in order to make all guests satisfied. The location is ideal for nature lovers. Surrounded by mighty mountains, cascading waterfalls, endless greenery, fresh air, rivers and streams, and scenic roads that lead to breathtaking viewpoints. In addition to the free gifts provided by Mother Nature, the hotel has a pleasant a**osphere, rooms that are spacious and convenient, tasty dinner and breakfast are provided, topped by Niki’s excellent hospitality. We stayed at Gefyri Plakas hotel for four nights and our stay has been one of our best travel experiences. What makes this family-run hotel stand out is that the owners really love what they do. The room we stayed in was quite comfortable and extremely clean. The breakfast was one of the best we have tried, with fresh pies and bread that the owner prepares the same morning. Finally, the hotel is located in a very good spot, in one of the most beautiful areas of Greece and is suitable for those who love exploring the Greek nature.
