Solaris Apartment Kassiopi

This hotel is just a little bit like a resort but also a little like a good B&B. Great stay in nice hotel close to harbor. It was a little hard to find, the hotel doesn't appear on Apple or Google maps, and there are a couple hotels with similar names. I drove to the main roundabout by the harbor and someone from the hotel came out to guide me in. Once you know where it is, it is easy. The hotel itself is well laid out, with several pools and a nice restaurant and bar. The room was comfortable and the internet fast. Nice staff at both the hotel and cafe. Very close to harbor, restaurants and shopping.

Great location ,average rooms , selection of pools lots of sun beds good little bar , clean and tidy It’s all a bit too Brits on your for us ,bout no complaints just not for us again Staff are very nice

Solaris is a very fine family orientated apar**ent complex. We went there for two weeks. They also arranged for us to be picked up at the air port on our arrival. (we asked by email where we could arrange transport, and they arranged it for us). We love the vibe. The staff are all friendly. the swimming pools are both fine and there is a baby pool. In the evening it is very quiet so you can sleep all night without noise. The bar is very welcoming.. It stays open officially untill 8 in the evening, but when everybody is having a good time, and you want to get one extra drink, is is not a problem, the staff will stay until there is no-one at the bar anymore. So flexible and kind. They have great food for breakfast and lunch (lunch until 16.00 ), although the food is not very greek. I think it is adjusted for the English guests. But everything is prepared with all fresh ingredients and much love. Even the coffee, milkshakes, and cake, all very tasty. With lunch our son had the time of his life, choosing something different every day. We had a two bed-room apar**ent. It is a good size apar**ent. The bedrooms are big, with a very good size bed for two persons. A tv (we don't use it, but for people with children it is good probably), enough closet and cabinet space for all our things. the cooking area is small, but enough for a Holliday. We only cook something simple on Holliday. There is even air-conditioning in the bed rooms. we did not need it all the time because during our stay the wind was blowing trough the apar**ent is you opened the doors at both sides . But when it was time sleep and you close the shutters for the light, the used it, therefore we could sleep very good. The bath room is simple but functional. Everything you need is in it. a shower, toilet, sink, mirror and e little cabinet. We could not say anything bad about Solaris. If you have a problem in the apar**ent and you tell the staff, they will fix it if they can. the apar**ent is cleaned more times during the week, you get clean towels when you need them and allso the sheets are changed several times during our stay. The cleaning ladies are kind and they will not touch your personal items. I never had the feeling that I could not leave my jewellery or money or laptops, phones etc in the apar**ent. If I had to tell something bad about Solaris I can only think of 1 thing, the shower is not very stable with temperature. It goes form very hot to very cold, especially when it is around dinner time and a lot off people are taking a shower at the same time. But I don't think they have any influence on that part. After a couple of days we decided to take a shower before 6 in the evening or you could better take a shower when you came back from dinner, after 10 in the evening. Solaris is not a place for people who want a lot of luxury or if you want to be entertained all day. It is really family orientated. Lots of room for kids to play and entertain them selves. The place ,the people , food and drinks ...all great ! The excellent location, right in the center of kassiopi and a stone's throw from the beautiful beach of Bataria, the village full of little shops, restaurants and with every comfort.

From walking into reception and meeting Lucy we felt welcomed and at home in this lovely place. Solaris is in a fabulous position in Kassiopi, off the main street so really nice and quiet in the evening and early mornings, but just steps away from the hustle and bustle, and numerous restaurants, bars and shops. The resort is so well maintained and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Lucy was so helpful with our late booking and generous with her time, she made a considerable effort to make sure we had a lovely stay, we hugely appreciated this after having packed up early and moved from another less desirable residence in Kassiopi. I can heartily recommend Solaris and we would definitely stay here again.

Great location with 2 pools and loads of sunbeds. Pool bar serving drinks and snacks at a reasonable price. Receptionist Lucy is the star of the show. So helpful and efficient, she organised transfers and a hire car for us and gave us recommendations of tavernas on our travels around the island. Apar**ent was very clean and beds were comfortable. Highly recommended

This is the second time we have stayed at these apar**ents. Very centrally located, nice pool area and pool bar which serves food and drinks during the day. We were a family of 11 and had 4 rooms. The rooms have different standards of accommodation which is clearly shown on the website however choose wisely. Sadly my elderly parents had a studio in the other block as no apar**ents available. I would probably not recommend these rooms as very basic and small but they do have a nice view. We had an upgrade to the two bedroom suite and this is definitely the room that you want. Modern with all amenities. Personally I had no issues but my parents were not quite so lucky. I will return given the location but will be careful in my room choice

We spent 10 days at this lovely apar**ent complex. Had a great room, with very good facilities, situated in a good spot in the village. But the thing that made our stay so fabulous was how welcoming and friendly the staff were. Lucy on reception in particular was so kind to us and couldn't do enough for us to make our stay more than perfect. She deserves a day off! We'll be back

We booked a week's stay at Solaris in March 23 for sept 23. Solaris cancelled our booking 2 week's before our holiday, leaving us with very little options to find somewhere else. We ended up in Roda in very cheap accomadation.Very unimpressed.
