Great Southern Killarney

Beautiful hotel perfectly located a stone throw away from Killarney city centre. Friendly staff & fantastic service at both check in & breakfast. Will definitely stay here again & highly recommend.

We had a fantastic stay, the hotel is lovely. Great food and amazing staff. Erin at the front desk was very helpful and made our stay even better. Had dinner in the restaurant and lunch in the bar, great food and excellent service. Can’t wait to go back.

We held a family event for a communion at the hotel and had a fantastic experience! The service and food were excellent. Special thanks to Michaela for helping us with the booking and to Kathleen and her team for their outstanding food service. We will definitely be back for future events.

An absolute delight from moment we stepped through front door. Every colleague that worked there was so friendly and welcoming .My mother was delighted with her surprise slate and card in her room and equally thrilled with her "birthday desert".we ate in restaurant and bar all top notch and so much choice at breakfast .Pool area was immaculate A massive thank you to all for making her trip so special . A home and real experience. Can't wait to return

Family stayed for a few nights at the Great Southern Killarney in May. This was our fourth stay at the Great Southern Killarney. This was the most enjoyable stay by a long shot. There is little doubt that the standards have rocketed at this hotel right across the board and Hotel staff and Management have done a really magnificent job in creating something so special for guests. And this was right across the board, Rooms, Cleanliness, Food, Welcome, Fabulous Swimming Pool etc. The Management and Staff can take a bow as this was the best stay we experienced at any Hotel ever! The full package and so so enjoyable. The welcome was warm and courteous. Staff were absolutely fantastic, friendly and helpful. Made the stay really inviting. There was a great sense of respect amongst staff members, and this is great to see. It creates a great vibe for guests too. Our fabulous family Room was spotless and spacious and quiet. The hotel lobby and halls were immaculate with not a speck of dust to be seen. There is great character and a sense of history here. Breakfast was superb. Everything you need on a menu. A wide choice of fabulous breakfast alternatives with the full Irish fry outstanding. Coffee was the business. Plates warm and food perfect. Juices and almost whatever catches you imagination available on the menu. Dinner was excellent as well. And a pint of Guinness was top notch and relaxing! Weather in Killarney was sunny and warm. The GSH gardens looked heavenly with birds singing and rabbits looking homely on the lawns. The gardeners really do a great job in maintaining the plants and lawns. It all looked like so perfect and an evening walk through the gardens was paradise personified. We will be back again to the Great Southern Killarney. Thanks to staff and management for making this a lovely, memorable, and relaxing stay. You should ALL be so proud as a team. The Great Southern is back to its best without a doubt.
