The Commercial Hotel Kingaroy

I dined here recently while touring the area and decided on The Commercial Hotel for lunch. There is an outdoor dining area out the back of the hotel with tables and chairs undercover and out in the sun for those cooler days, the area is well protected from winds as it is enclosed in high walls. The Hotel/Dining area itself are not much to look at but the meals are of high quality and a very reasonable price. Our table had the Friday special House Fish n Chips and Lunch Schnitzel with Mushroom sauce. The meals were large and we could not eat it all. The salad was very nice and fresh, the chicken schnitzel was juicy and in a crunchy crumb, there was 2 portions of fish which were moist and the chips were crispy and hot. We also decided on Lemon, Lime and bitters for drinks and they were extremely delicious. There was the usual selection of pub style meals available to buy and all the meals served around me appeared of generous proportions. I will definitely dine here again when travelling through the area.
