Residence Inn Knoxville Downtown

Location is amazing! Walking distance to downtown where there is a bunch of restaurants, art and entertainment. Our room was amazing and huge! We were checked in by Colton who was so friendly and helpful. He represented the brand well! We would definitely stay here again!

Arrived on Monday evening. Hotel was very clean which I appreciated. Soap dispensers in the shower were empty. Not a huge deal. When I checked in they asked if I wanted housekeeping every other day. I said "sure". When I arrived back to the hotel Wednesday evening my room was not cleaned. Again, not a huge deal to me but I did call down to reception to see if they at least had some body wash so I didnt have to use my hand soap. Reception was apologetic for not getting the room cleaned and said they would send some bodywash and fresh towels up right away. On top of this she offered to comp my parking for missing the cleaning. I thought that was a nice gesture. This was at 6pm. I never saw the towels or body wash. Upon checkout, parking was not comped as promised.

We're Marriott loyalists and find this property excellent. Pro's: - Great front desk staff. Cotton was gracious enough to offer a complimentary upgrade (we never ask...and truly appreciate the properties that are proactive with elite status perks). - Very new property. Interior is clean and fresh. - Great location. Everything downtown is within walking distance. - Handy, on-property parking. Feels safer than a generic downtown garage. - Maybe not well advertised, yet there are gas grills on the second floor and nice outdoor seating area. Other notes: - Pretty typical RI breakfast. Always a nice perk. We enjoyed everything about the stay and would look here first when returning to Knoxville.

Comfortable beds, clean, spacious suites. Easy indoor covered parking. Arrived very late in the evening. Called ahead and was able to get checked in and digital key. No waiting around at check-in with sleepy kids in the wee hours of the morning... priceless. No issues or complaints during our short stay.

This hotel shares location with the Courtyard (two brands, one building). The location is amazing, it's a block from *** St. and Market St, where you can find all kinds of restaurants. If you are not driving, e-scooters are all around. If you don't feel like going out, you can find a small grocery store with a nice selection of everything from candy, munchies, soups, frozen dishes (that are surprisingly good!), drinks, icecream, and basic necessities. We stayed at the Residence Inn for 3 months (business trip) and it was great! We had a studio on a high floor for the view. It had a kitchenette with everything you need to be comfortable. It gets kind of busy during sports weekends but once in your room it is super quiet. Breakfasts are great, they have the basics + other stuff that varies every day, we were there 3 months and never got bored! I totally recommend it! I want to thank all the team in the kitchen, especially Brayna, Garrison and the Guatemalan lady (I can't remember her name!), who were always very gentle and took care of us with a smile every single day. Same as the gentleman in charge of housekeeping on the 8th floor, he was always nice and helpful. We enjoyed it all the time at the Residence Inn! PS. They have live music every Friday and Saturday at the Bistro (restaurant on the 1st floor), it's nice, and you couldn't tell it was happening unless you were in the lobby area.

Great place! Extremely clean. Great breakfast, lots of options. Friendly staff. Location was great, able to walk just about anywhere. The room is like a studio apartment, had everything we needed. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again! Love the games in the lobby too.

My friends and I got a room with 2 queens and a pull out. To our unwelcome surprise the pullout bed was a nightmare. The bed was covered in dirt and had rocks on it. The sheets provided were made to fit a queen bed. The pullout itself was broken and sunk on the left side.

Stayed one night on our way to Hilton Head, booked 2 rooms with the family, including one handicapped person.. The gentleman coordinating parking was very nice and provided us a luggage cart and suggested rather than parking in the ramp that we stay in the handicapped spot outside the entrance. Front desk was able to find us two rooms near each other and the next morning the housekeeper was beyond friendly and helpful in using the ice machine to fill our large cooler. Breakfast was very good and included scrambled eggs, sausage sandwiches and breakfast potatoes, along with many other options. Room was very nice and spacious, and most importantly, clean!

We stayed one night. Hotel shares building with Courtyard. Positives are: helpfull staff, large studio rooms, location. Negatives: noisy room AC; shower with low water pressure and half pane enclosure spraying water on the floor, and most of all lousy breakfast. Breakfast was worse than at Fairfield Inn we stayed in a few days back. They ran out of bacon; only diet yoghurt, which must be the worst tasting yoghurt on the planet; juices from machine diluted with tap water.
